C'mon fellas. were all of you born yesterday. The line smelled fishy right from the get go with the #2 team in the nation getting a point or point and a half from the extremely over rated Longhorns. The public hammers Oklahoma all day and the line hardly moves at all. Every casino is vegas had to call for police escorts to get the Oklahoma money they were taking since the line opened.

This game and Blake Griffin has Alex Rodriguez written all over it - for anyone that has played sports before, are you kidding me that the bump caused a 260 pound monster to leave the game due to a head injury - I call complete bullshit and for anyone that thinks there was no funny business happening, then give your head a shake.

Vegas wins again - absolute joke.

And in case you think I wagered on Okl, no chance no how - this smelled right from the get-go and again it proves that even the kids can be bought.
Classic, man. Just classic.

and yet they were down 5 halfway through the game when he was in there and he wasnt exactly lighting it up either

1-5 with 2 turnovers

i guess we should just assume he scores 50 in the 2nd half

o nevermind u didnt even know he was in the game the first half i guess ill just have to respond to comments with people that have a clue from now on.

Abrams scored how many points in the first half?

Griffin just doesn't make a difference on offense. Texas got a couple offensive rebounds including a huge one late that probably wouldn't have happened. Also he would have been double teamed opening up better shots for his teammates.

do you realize how ridiculous you sound, IMO ou backers have no real beef since they are down at halftime anyways. they are acting like it was a 15 point halftime lead down the drain.

could they have won of course, could they have lost of course, well never know, saying that if hes in there they win for sure is ridiuclous though.
I'm not even betting right now. I don't care who won the fucking game. I had a friend on Texas tonight, and he cashed. Congrats to you guys.

Texas +.5 which hit with Abrams FT's. I hedged out when saw Griffin on the bench looking like he didn't know where he was.

ou had something like 10 points in the first 8 minutes. they missed something like their first 5 3's. would this debate be going on if griffen had sat out the majority of the 1st half in foul trouble and then allowed a lot of easy 2nd half layups out of fear of fouling out?

were never gonna know is the whole point, im saying that the OU backers are saying that is 100% the reason they lost. how could they say that when they would have to make a comeback at halftime. im guessing when the book favored ou at halftime they didnt know he was outta the game for sure, so they still had texas winning by 4.5 with him in there, cuz rest assured if he was 100% out texas is favored at half.

OU is good. Not the best team in America, but a very good team. A lot of people don't believe. They say "stop Griffin, you stop OU." It's as simple as that. People that bet Texas tonight had that view, every one of them. And since they bet the game on that premise, they can't really say they had the right side now.

i really thought they would slow him down and they did do that for a half, how could you be 100% sure he comes in there in foul trouble already and dominates, he wasnt playing against texas tech.

he coulda easily got 3 fouls right away and been on the bench immediately.

if griffin is in the game warren doesn't hit 27pts. they feed the ball to blake in the post more often than warren touches the ball on the outside = less points. and blake wasn't shooting all that well to begin with. win or lose, OU had an ugly line to play with and a lot of fish swallowed the bait.

ya provided hes in the game he woulda been a factor obviously, the 3rd foul coulda easily came at any time. i do think he woulda been very careful on defense to start the 2nd half obviously, would texas have been bright enough to go right at him who knows.

i guess you have a crystal ball too? maybe griffin does dominate the 2nd half, i actually bet on texas because i felt like it was the right play not because of it being a "strange" line.

i just dont think people realize how many intangible factors are at stake in these games and every single one i could think of was for texas.

it was painfully obvious to me from the get-go that texas matched up well. 10 seconds in griffen was called for a foul.
