What I would like to know is whether Michael Saylor used leverage or not? If so what x?

If some short would leak he used 10x, his company stock would sink like a stone. LOL

to be clear, am not a bull or a bear on BTC, trade it occasionally . Posting the following as it may be helpful, found it interesting. Its from a guy who posts at a healthcare forum, this dude seems to live and breathe BTC.

collection of posts;

I just ordered a Raspiblitz from German bitcoin company Fulmo. It's a full Bitcoin node and Lightning Network node in a little pint sized computer. Basically out of the box you can plug it in, provide some liquidity and start earning satoshis routing LN payments. This is Bitcoin's fastest growing element right now. I invested $500 with tax and shipping (I got the gold heatsink model with extra ram plus pre-synched blockchain option) into this. I'll support Bitcoin by helping to provide decentralized consensus and earn satoshis for supporting the LN.

IMO, this is a great time to get in to the LN. I imagine the more the LN grows the more "easy to setup" LN nodes will become hard to get like graphics cards used for mining are now. Plus there is the appearance that "it's difficult to setup" a LN node which will keep lots of people at bay even though the network is growing like mad. If my hunch is correct smart people will be racing to setup nodes as the LN gets busier and busier because you can earn Bitcoin doing practically nothing letting this little thing run 24/7.

For those interested I'll share my experience here including setting it up, running it and my earnings along the way.

Good fun.

This is a good resource for learning about the LN: https://www.lopp.net/lightning-information.html

Here is a live view from Lightning Network Explorer of the LN now:

The Raspiblitz is a Full Bitcoin Core node and a Lightning Network node.

Here is a typical Bitcoin transaction graphi

Running a Bitcoin Core node pays nothing but allows people to have their own version of the blockchain in real time. Lightning Network runs "next to" Bitcoin and solves scalability issues, allows permissionless micropayments instantly using open channels which are later settled on Bitcoin's blockchain. You can earn satoshis for providing liquidity, opening channels that facilitate these microtransactions. Lighting uses satoshis and millisatoshis so someone can send 11cents or whatever across the world for very cheap using Bitcoin.

Here is a good article explaining all that: The Lightning Network Is Going to Change How You Think About Bitcoin

my bad missed a part before the graph from above;

A Raspiblitz uses about 1/3 the power of a laptop or about $8 a year running 24/7 365.

I've seen lightning network nodes making $25 per month way back in 2019 when it was in it's infancy. You earn satoshis so back in 2019 price of BTC was lower and activity on the network was much lower than it is now.

It's growing like mad. We're seeing a paradigm shift and real world adoption of this emerging technology.

This is how Bitcoin is being used as currency around the world. There are many popular apps and payment systems based on LN. It's being integrated into wallets and exchanges right now. Twitter is integrating LN, merchants are using it and much more. There is an entire industry about to explode in BITCOIN DEFI.

It's a compelling opportunity to get in early on the next phase of Bitcoin adoption. I expect to get 100% ROI very quickly. After that it's all gravy. I'll share my earnings as I go.

pierced into levels not seen since the candle on 06/22. The candle on the weeekly NEEDS a BTC rally before close on Sat 8pm. Right now? that aint a good candle if the week was to print for damn sure ...the week aint done, should be fun popcorn-eatinggif

what a difference a day makes lol , careful front running the higher time frames . Went from a long red candle near the bottom of the box (red flag city) to a possible green hammer pattern (bullish ) lol. Weekly candle is not done, of course.

Bitcoin surges past $32,000 after Elon Musk says he owns the coin

Bitcoin extended gains past $32,000, continuing a rebound after erasing most of its gains for the year. The latest leg up came in as Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey and Cathie Wood spoke during a panel on the future of Bitcoin.
The largest digital currency rose more than 8% to about $32,270 as of 2:27 p.m. in New York on Wednesday. Other cryptos advanced too, including Ether and Dogecoin, while the Bloomberg Galaxy Crypto Index was also in the green.

Musk, the chief executive of Tesla Inc., reiterated his backing of Bitcoin, saying he owns the token along with Dogecoin and Ethereum. He also said Space Exploration Tecnologies Corp. also owns Bitcoin, like Musk’s electric-car company.
The token bounced back after sliding below $30,000 earlier in the week, its first foray there since June.
