I also lost my first wallet in a similar fashion. I can't remember how much I had, but it would've been over a thousand bucks for sure!

mr nba .. if i understand correctly the blockchain etherum is what investors are joining for not for the ether currency that resides on the etherum blockchain.. how do u get on the etherum bandwagon , is the only way to buy the ether currency?

ok so i figured this part out.. for companies wanting to use apps on the ether blockchain, ether is needed , so yes buy the currency.. still though if you have any suggestions for an exchange to use, i prefer to buy with ****** but not a show stopper if they dont. I would hate to have to buy bitcoins to then pay for the ether with.

I decided to diversify some of my investments with cryptocurrency in February. I ended up investing about $4,000 in combination Bitcoin, ethereum, and Litecoin. I checked my coin base account last week and it was up over $31k. Cashed out everything but the original 4000, and paid for a prepaid College plan for my son. I can't wait to tell him how I paid for it when it's time time for him to head off to school in 16 years.
