I netted most everything this year raised beds and hoops with clips...also build another green house this spring.
where we are most everyone has the be in a green house..tomatoes, melons, eggplant, peppers anything that needs heat as we've had maybe one day over 85 this year at the farm..the coast house basically nothing grows it's just to cool.
lettuce, radish basically any brassica or allium does great I just planted my winter cabbage...I direct seed most everything.
We do berries, had great crops of both raspberries and strawberry the blues are half done..we freeze tons of berries for later use.
I've done 3 crops of radish this year.. Do you cold pickle at all? this is something we've been doing for a few years with both red onion and radish, it's made me fall in love with growing both. I eat pickle stuff on almost everything..Pizza/ Tacos, Pickled onion and avocado salads.
Here's a good recipe if you don't cold pickle yet... you have to use within a few weeks
I'm going too look up the Italian Zuc...ours have been going off...I posted an amazing pasta recipe using zucchini it's worth doing but wait the 24 hours after frying..I just pan fry with very little old.. a non stick pan helps.
cold pickle recipe ..I use apple cider but any vinegar is good.
