this place is awesome, great food, better than most restaurants, little pricey but well worth it but is portillos really fast food?
they do have a drive thru but the food seems more like a convenient restaurant to me.

If you are over here on the west coast then it has to be Del Taco. It is 10 times better than that shit at Taco Bell. Del Taco is very affordable, pretty healthy for fast food and is open in the early AM.

The least advertiesed most underrated fast food item of all time is Taco Bell's Meximelt, subsitute the beef for Chicken, even better, IMO.

i worked at taco bell for a few years when i was younger, the meximelt is the best, only thing i liked better was the Chilito, but that hasnt been on their menu for years

portillos is so good cant be considered fast food, you will be hard pressed to find better food at any restaurant. of course a large beef w/ peppers is at least $7, it aint cheap.
