Guys thanks alot for the all the input, it helps me to decide a genral list and I've been doing some searching and consideration on my own throughout the night to try to cut the list down. I think I have a pretty good idea that many of the teams suggested will least be added into the plan at some point in the near future.

For now, the most immediate addition looks like a "fade" on the Braves. Theyve already started abad streak but I thought they were overrated to begin with and think they should struggle for a few more weeks. Might be another one or two I'll add for Monday/Tuesday but I need to consider a bit more.

Wow, you obviously dont understand what is going on here.. Its not as simple as saying "oh this team sucks, they fade"

There is a lot that goes into it.. And its not like anyone is blindly fading a team for the whole season either.

I regret even mentioning anything.

But I do understand I can read 'betting on underrated teams was profitable before no it's break even' and you know what in the long run it's going to be a losing proposition. I was just making the point that betting on anything blindly wasn't wise. There are over 2400 baseball games in a season plenty of opportunities to pick winners. We're all here for the same reason to win.

No hard feelings.

Yes, but its not that "betting on underrated teams are now break even". Its just that I probably held onto a couple of the SPECIFIC teams I was following a bit too long. Had I been a little quicker to pull them (as I almost was with two of them), things could have worked out just fine. This thread is to get some ideas so that I can "pre-emptively" make adjustments, if you will. Getting prepared for some possible additions so I can make switches before the previous set runs dry.

No hard feelings, I just think we have different opinions and maybe arent thinking along the same line. GL to you as well

Thanks guys, I think I'm jumping on the Braves "fade" bandwagon at least for the next week or so and see how they respond to recent struggles.

The Rangers I'm gonna take the Over with today and then wait and see what kind of line they get this week...they may be a good choice as well.

Looks like the Rays might be leveling out.

Either that or Chisox starting to find their pitching as Rays can't muster shit last two days getting 11 hits yesterday and scoring 2 f'n runs.

Phillies look like shit today and Pads looking good.

Ya despite Pads bullpen blowing it today, I'm leaning closer and closer to tailing them in the near future because people still arent giving them much respect and my main concern was their hitting ability but that doesnt seem to be an issue yet. Plus, the bullpen lost today because they rested their real closer.

BadCo, I started tailing ChiSox preseason so I think its just more about them being a better team than most thought. I will keep an eye on Rays though, but their pitching is scary to fade as long as they have Longoria in the middle of the lineup as well.

Thanks for the input.

nice to see you around today Ninja

How'd did your bets go today...25-23 or so?? :):)

Thanks for the input, its funny I'm in agreement on a lot of peoples suggested fades but the follows not so much...and there's been a wide variety of them. Seems that nobody can agree on who is going to be good in the next few weeks and who will tail off

Braves are almost definitely a team I'll fade but it all depends on if I see the lines are adjusting to our expectations or they still havent figured the teams out.

no silly... not that many games... 21-15!!! give me SOME credit! haha:laugh:

Not getting offended here or anything but I think "fading" mmy picks so far, even on the worst days, wouldn't do you very good lol yesterday was my worst so far and it was -1.0 unit!

C'mon man, gimme some credit here!...at least until I do become a quality fade (which I'm not saying wont happen at some point) lol

Great day today. I knew you'd have a bounce back day after a couple of rough days. And I do use "rough" loosely since you really didn't lose much.

Well done!

Thanks Luther, it was fun to bounce back alright haha

However, I'd appreciate if you keep these types of comments in my official season long thread. This thread here was just meant for discussion about different teams and for some suggestions ad advice, in general. Try to keep day-by-day comments about my actual picks over there.

Personally I wouldnt care either way, but I don't want to get into a situation where it appears I have two threads with picks going on simultaneously, because I know that's frowned upon. Dont want anything deleted based on that assumption. :103631605

Thanks for the kind words, but just send it on over to my Picks thread please, thats all

I'd fade Toronto. No way that offense keeps up the numbers they are hitting.

Padres too.

Marlins are built to win ball games...not at a 11-1 clip but they could easily take down 80 wins.

Thanks Gator...I think Marlins are going for 90 wins. I've been on them since preseason and theyre a big reason my method has had success thus far. I'll keep riding them for now because judging by tomorrow's line, they still arent gettin the deserved respect on the road.

Padres I'm hesitant to fade at this point because I want to avoid fading good picthing teams, especially if theyre being rated as a dog almost every game anyway.

Toronto is definitely a solid choice...not quite yet with texas coming into town but very, very soon. I appreciate your input. Feel free to add to this anytime you come up with more suggestions :103631605
