"Best book" Pinnacle: Are you beating them or are they beating you?

thats a good question on whether pinnacles (or any other book for that matter) lines reflect what they are booking or basing it on their own opinion , or leaning towards sharps.......i would think that they are dealing lines like they are supposed too... adjusting off of action or when wise guy action dictates
alot has been said about pinnacle having sharper lines but IMO you could trade banners with CRIS, oly, and others and they would pretty much have the same lines...if offshore books could get away with dealing seperate lines to squares and sharps they would do it in a heartbeat.

Here it is 11:07 CST - no college basketball money lines. They are being very careful with moneylines which means they must be cinching it up so it does not cost them money.

They are letting the other books take the early hits so they do not have to put a (buyback) number out there to try to get some balance. I have no problem with that - just using it as an indication of their viewpoint.

Perhaps they are winning on the point spreads and losing on the money lines.
