could be difference of qualifying...The Bengals are now 0-3 in the AFC North, a major concern in the playoff race, but Burrow says the mistakes they’ve made are correctable. KEY TIEBREAKER

Both SB QBs are having a hard time with protection. Both are in jeopardy of getting injured and getting knocked out for the rest of the year.

Bengals team total is at 9-115 either way
That means as of now they are expected to go 9-8
If they make the playoffs and win the SB they would have done it with the worst record to ever win a SB
Burrows will give the bengals an extended run of relevancy and contention, he is good good and he hasn’t even put it all together yet he’s still a puppy

3 teams have won the SB after losing a SB
How interesting some of the facts are

1. All teams had QBs playing for them that were in their 3rd year or later
2. All 3 Qbs(Staubach 10-0, Griese 5-0, Brady 16-0 not in winning SB season) had an undefeated(QB record) regular season at some point in their career including 2 in that season they won it
3, All 3 teams had a top 7 ranked defense

3. Bengals currently ranked 13 in defense

Their defense is good enough to win it all

Doesn't mean they will of course

Barring significant injury the Bengals are my choice to win it all with Philly running second.

Maholmes can't do it with Kelce alone.

Buffalo is cracking. Josh Allen is having inconsistant gmes. And the Buffalo D ain't what it was expected to be.

Burrow has the best receiver stable by far. And he's proven over and over that he can find them. Their D is good enough.

I prefer to go with the odds and they say no
But that is no guarantee. They are definitely a top 5 team with a QB who is a winner

I was right with one of the QBs..
Bengals OL gaining experience and improving, hopefully they can keep Joe protected

I'm more concerned with us having to go through this tough schedule. We kind of have to treat it like the playoffs

Just hope we are not gassed come playoffs

Bengals would have to be the 1st team ever to make back 2 back SBs winning 3 games just to make both SBs

if they make the playoffs and win the superbowl, it probably means they didn't go 9-8

Yes, if they win the superbowl. It probably means they didn't go 9-8 in the regular season.

Your post makes it sound like they are winning 9 games and thus have to win the superbowl with 9 regular season wins.

The books had the team total at that. My point was it is unlikely bedcause they would be the team with the worst regular season ever to win SB
The whole thread is reasons they are not going to win it

But if they won the SB, they wouldn't win 9 games. So the scenario of them winning the SB with 9 wins wouldn't happen. They would start their SB run by outperforming the win total.

You don't see how this is a logic error?
