If you haven't read the court docs on this, you should.
According to those docs:
1. She was the VIP rep for the penthouse floor.
2. Toothlessburger called her desk multiple times...asking her to personally come into his room to fix his TV.
3. She called her boss, as well as the hotel repair office to come up....and phone records can prove this.
4. The hotel video cameras caught all of this.
If you take the time to read it, it's really not that funny. It sounds very plausible. From what I can tell, no one is denying that he banged her (or at least tried) while she was on duty at work. If they can prove via phone records the he persisted to call her, and it's shown along with the video evidence...then it looks like he used her position as a guest service rep to lure her into his room as opposed to picking up some random chick and taking her there.
While it may be funny to joke about her looks and the craziness of the whole thing, I'm starting to believe her side of the story more.
Your kidding right? So we should have ignored the Kobe Bryant rape case too? Donte Stallworth? Michael Vick? Plaxico Burress? I mean, they are OFF field issues....they are athletes.....which is sports related....and thats fine if you think that way...but then...ALL of those examples I just gave, should have been ignored by ESPN too.....they pick and choose....maybe its because THEY didnt break the story and are embarrassed one of their 15,000 reporters failed to report it....or they are in bed with Big Ben....whatever the reason...they look more and more stupid not saying a word about it....yet, they can tell me what kind of toilet paper Brett Favre uses to wipe his ass....They suck!!!
Gasm~
I read the court documents. It seems likely to me that
a) everything she is claiming is true
b) Ben is no gentleman
c) Ben used her just like he's used many other girls
d) Ben is not guilty of a crime
Sounds like he called her up, fully expecting that she knew exactly what he wanted. He comes onto her, she doesn't really stop him. He pulls out and finishes, and then tells her to get the hell out of his room and never come back. He checks out of the hotel, thinks nothing of it. She is hurt by that fact that he used her like a blow-up doll and then kicked her out. She is traumatized, because she's a good girl that doesn't do stuff like this. She suffers and feels guilt. She now wants to blame him for her suffering.
He's probably never had a girl come to his room and say no before. But it doesn't really sound like she tried to stop him. She was taken advantage of, but I think her claims of false imprisonment and rape are most likely way off base.
"I'm not on birth control" while in the act does not make it rape. I feel bad for the girl, and she probably never meant for it to happen. He banged her and threw her away like a used kleenex. But I don't think she can win this lawsuit. Just my opinion.
Yeah, that assessment could be pretty accurate.
But, regardless of the he-said/she-said aspect of it, the actions of her employer, Harrah's, and those associated with them, do seem to be very improper. They had a responsibility to investigate and take her seriously and not try to cover it up and basically threaten her.
I think she'll end up getting a settlement, but not from Ben, from Harrah's.
