If a ball leaves a locker room at 12.5 PSI and can lose as much as 2 PSI by taking it outside in 50 degree weather, then how is a ball even playable in 10 degrees? A ball would lose about 25% of it's pressure if you go by Bill's explanation.

Sorry, why now learn ESPN and the rest of the media intentionlly misrepresented how much pressure was lost

What a fucking surprise eh? Liars lying

Willie, I respect NE but they haven't won anything in years.

Winning the conference? Great
Appearing in a conference championship? Great I guess
Appearing in a SB? When was the last time they did that?

The NFL is a "what have you done for me lately league" and NE hasn't done anything lately. And when Touchdown Tommy finally retires, they won't do anything for another 20 years. Enjoy this one while it's here.

So you obviously think that if the Seahawks lose next week, they haven't accomplished anything this year

I think that's pretty damn silly

Bill Nye, for one, is not impressed. On Sunday’s episode of Good Morning America, Nye refuted Belichick’s theory.

“I’m not too worried about coach Belichick competing with me. What he said didn’t make any sense. Rubbing the football I don’t think you can change the pressure. To really change the pressure you need one of these, the inflation needle.”

Nye also admitted he’s rooting for the Seahawks.

How much will Kraft pay this guy to say he did it on his own? The sad part is, patriot fans will use it as proof Brady didn't know anything. Lol. Those damn rogue equipment attendants strike again!!

Under Bllichicks theory...every ball in gbay should be deflated by the end of the 1st quarter. So silly to watch the pats fans defend this nonsense.

pitiful

we're actually accumulating and citing the mounting evidence in favor of the Pats, while your still riding discredited press reports, hyperbole and the idiocy I just quoted

exoneration is going to be painful, especially when your sources start getting the mocking ridicule they have coming to them

Exoneration won't be painful at all. It will be funny and predictable. Nfl will make their decision based on what is best for their bottom line and not the facts.

We already know the balls were deflated...nothing will change that. Pretty sad that you can't see what is obvious to everyone outside of boston

Would the Patriots even be a playoff team if they didn't cheat?

Does it really matter? There will be no asterisk beside any of their Super Bowl wins....none. Bill Walsh used to call it "gamesmanship" when he had scripted plays and then shut down the communication apparatus for both sides. Bill Parcells says shit like that happens all the time and not once called it cheating. Parcells didn't like it but he wasn't a whiny ass about it.

Haters are gonna hate, especially winners that kick their team's ass consistently. Hate on haters, hate on, lose with some dignity, this argument has candy ass written all over it. To think that shit like this doesn't go on league wide is as naive as it gets. Take Tampa Bays lone Super Bowl victory away because Brad Johnson admitted that he scuffed the balls.

Here's how it's going to go down soon:

Ball boy tampered with the footballs.
He acted alone, because hell, deflating footballs is fun.
No one told him to deflate the balls. He came up with it on his own.
He will come out and apologize.
He will state he has embarrassed himself and his family.
He will ask for forgiveness and check himself into a treatment program to cope with his incessant need to play with balls. Tom Brady's balls.

This "hater" thing is bizarre. I don't hate the pats but they cheated last week and probably have been deflating balls for a long time. That isn't gamesmanship....it's making the playing field not level....which is cheating. They are a great team with a great qb....but they break rules and try to create an unfair advantage.

So that explains why Luck was throwing to the wrong team and the Colts couldn't tackle?

It just makes you wonder what else they did. Did they spike their Gatorade? Or maybe a trainer shortened the colts cleats? You just don't know with these Pats.

that ball boy will bee paid well to take all the blame. he may never have to work again. I wish I was their ball boy. Brady would never tell ball boy to deflate balls.
