I got the press conference right here in case anyone missed it. Sounded pretty legit.

I literally just laughed my ass right off.

You should just kick in voluntarily, RenoChazz, to the massive expense the Ass Reattachment surgery is gonna run me.

Instead of making me sue your own ass off.

I wish I lived in Canada with Socialized Health Care.

Guys named "Bill" get in some shit...don't they?

In Bill we trust.

For him to come out and make those statements mean that he is very confident about the eventual outcome.

went to ESPN to see what he said at this conference, they essentially reported he said "they didn't intentionally do anything wrong", ignoring the substance and weight of his press conference.

I had to watch a local network to see the "WHOLE" story, and he presented a lot more substance with a lot more passion and fire than the national media wants you to know

ESPN is nothing more than another cancer on society, selling their version of events, the truth be damned

In this case they did choose his words wisely, making sure very little damage was done to the firestorm they're trying to create

they do know how to manipulate their flock (said in the "least" respectful way possible)

What Belichick did yesterday afternoon was seize control of the situation while the NFL leadership was letting it fester to the detriment of his team and the embarrassment of the league. The message that he sent to his team is that it's time to focus on the Beast that lies in wait one week from today. You can bet that the individual team members will have nothing to add as they reference their coach and his press conf yesterday when they are assaulted by the media in Arizona. Without specifically mentioning it he also left the blame for any inconsistency in the balls they have been using on the doorstep of the NFL and their referees, you know the ones who supposedly check the balls before gametime and the ones who handle the balls during the game. Somebody explain to me why there are two sets of balls if the NFL has not been sanctioning ball doctoring all along. That is my take. Why have I not heard the media assess this in a like manner?

What he did yesterday is called leadership in the face of a crisis. He did his homework and presented his findings. He handed the ball back to the NFL. When they fumble it again it won't be because he didn't school them in how not to fumble the ball.

There is a reason that this guy is the best coach in the history of the NFL. Cheating? Yea that's it.

"cheating" LMFAO

all one needs to do is listen to what his past and present players have to say

game prep, focus, practice in the worse conditions and doing things the "Patriot Way". And then listen to what some of them have to say when they go play for another organization, it's like nursery school, it's just not the same

many coaches are just idiots, some are inept, some shit their pants in big moments, some change what they do best at the wrong possible times and others are flash in the pans that burn bright and burnout fast

That Saturday Night stuff was hilarious......

I just watched it....very funny.

The end with the "A Few Good Men" parallel was good.

I'm going to have to check it out

seems like there are a lot of movie analogies being floated out there yesterday

"the truth, you can't handle the truth", that would be some funny shit

Well said. I am beginning to think that Harbaugh and Pagano were the ones who complained to the league. Outside of New England, Belichick and the Patriots are perceived as arrogant a-holes (not without some justification imo). Any chance to bring them down was immediately jumped on by the media. Meanwhile Goodell continues to show his incompetence by allowing this story to spiral out of control. The end result will be a huge ratings winner for the NFL. Roger you are leading a charmed life.
