There's something special about people who do the right thing, particularly when the right thing isn't the easy thing. Today the owners of the RXforum deserve to be applauded. They did the right thing despite it not being the easy thing.
It was BAS who stole posters prize money and in turn my money. He is sadly both a thief and stiff. Yet, it ultimately was the new ownership of theRX that was not even around at the time that paid the price to make it right. Given that actions do speak much louder than any words, we now can be confident that current management does want this place to succeed. This is a level of support I don't believe we've had in decades, even the years that I was a Mod here.
I see this as a rare opportunity that we have to rebuild this community back to the supportive, informative and engaged forum that it once was. Let's leave behind the toxicity of the past including stop focusing on our differences. It's us, the posters, that have the power to revitalize this community now that we have the right support. We can cultivate this environment to be what we want it to be. So let's focus on what brings us all here; sports, sports betting, the love of money, finding value, being degenerates, cashing tickets, competition, beating the number, discovering EV, debating outcomes of games and simply having great backs and forths. Legalized Gambling has brought us gamblers fresh opportunities, and now the new management has given us the support we've always needed. Let's make the most of each.
