During Buff's 1st td in the 4th qtr, they had the ball on the 1 yd line. They didnt score the td until 4th down. Nothing like watching that on your iphone in the parking lot at the grocery store thinking to yourself that a backdoor cover is coming!!

if there was a bad beat in the BGSU - Buffalo game it was those who had the over. Both teams had 500+ yards, 1 total turnover and only 50 points scored. Buffalo got inside the 25 yard line 5 times in the 1st 3 quarters and came away with a total of 9 points, both teams left a lot of points out there, especially buffalo. This game should have been closer that the 28-9 score it was going into the 4th.

To me the bad beat of the week was Boise - Hawai'i over 56......49-0 at the half and the game stays under

I think that buy/uconn game was a bad beat...line was -14.5-16... Byu up 14 with 26 sec left in game ...uconn has no timeouts and byu kicks fg to win by 17...

I had Western Ky -33 pts. They had a 41 pt lead w/ 6 min to play. North Tex got a td to trim the lead to 34. West KY gets the ball back (they put the 3rd string qb in) and they go 3 and out. However they punt the ball to the NT 7 yd line.

NT took possession w/ about 3 min left maybe? I was 100% confident that I was gonna lose my play, and i did. North tex scores a td w/ about 30 secs left for the backdoor cover. To make matters worse, The qb for NT is the same 4 star qb who decommitted from my school back in 2011 to go to Louisville (only to play for WK and then move on to NT)

Sorry, that one sucked. I was actually rooting FOR the backdoor, not for my own bet, but a friend in our "pick 5" pool had WKU -32.5 and suffered the same fate.

I thought this thread was contain more crying and whining, and glad it doesn't! Bad beats happen all the time, sometimes it's good to vent for a minute, then just let it go.

The Mario Chalmers 3 pointer to tie the game in the NCAA Championship vs. Memphis cost me about $2000. That sucked!!

This is a throwback bad beat, and sort of off topic since it's not recent and I don't recall the specific teams. I was in Vegas with some friends for a weekend about 15-16 years ago. Back then, the NFL late games all started right at 3PM (CT)/4PM (ET). My buddy had two big bets on the early games, and was looking good, so went up and bet a couple late games, essentially using up most of his available cash he had left. He had to get the bets in before kick, and the other games weren't final yet. Of course, just after that, both his early games had late scores that screwed him, and he lost both. And you know what happened next.....yeah, the two late games lost too. LOL. His GF (now wife) at the time was so pissed.

Just a thread to bitch for a minute or 2 about a nonsense play that had no effect on who won the game but had a MAJOR effect for "vegas purposes". I'm not even going to mention how North Texas scored a long wacky td during the last play of the 1st half. ugh

I had 3U on WK. I also knew we were gonna lose when they went 3 and out before the final drive. The 33 Yd run to get them field position really hurt. Would have been a solid winning night that turned into a losing night. That was a tough one, especially when you consider NT offense is crap.

Wont be the last time.

Crazy weekend we just had. Wonder if the michigan/sparty game affected anyone's money line/teaser plays?
