I personally am a fan of the Thai massage. They do a great job massaging your back, legs, and arms. I almost fall asleep every time.

Yep, every night that I did not go out to the clubs I would go get Thai massage with a girl - even got Thai massage and then football massage for 2 hours total and it was 10 dollars - sleep like a baby after that

Of course if you go with Viejo you end up going for a soapie massage, aka River Rafting, - fuck, that girl clean every crack

Yes, and your supposed to - I know this because this girl and I went like four times and she always gave the girl who did the massage 100 baht - so 200 to the store and 100 tip

Agreed, my wife's good friend is married to one of the top cops in Thailand, all I can say is somebody might be in for a rude awakening......again read "Welcome to Hell" before you decide to go...it is a good counterbalance to the land of milk and honey posts in this thread. Not saying it is dangerous there...you just need to be aware of the situation and if you think just because you are American you are immune from the corruption over there think again...The main thing is don't do anything illegal...especially drugs, that will get you into a nightmare situation very quick

I went North to Chiang Mai, to a village and smoked O, and the Euro's sell Hash on the beach down south on Koh Phangan :bong:

But in Bangkok, the Thai's will turn you in after they sell it to you.........

ive never been but i cant believe anyone would even bother with enough legal vices readily accesible, why risk putting yourself in a potentially bad situation. I have a lil fun time to time with whatever but risk prison to get a lil fd up, nah i can wait till i get back home if i was so inclined.

Yeah when I say this I am mainly speaking of the real touristy, seedy areas, Bangkok, Pattaya Beach, Phuket.....Don't think many here would be interested in the beauty of the countryside:>Grin>

Actually I've been reading some real good things about Chiang Mai.

It's more laid back, mountainous, actually cheaper than Bangkok and
Pattaya - and it's becoming a popular retirement mecca for westerners.

Yeah, an older friend who's also married to a thai lady,together they just bought a brand new home in a brand new community around Chiang Mai for I believe around 100,000. Right now they are using it as a vacation house and renting it out the rest of the time. The community basically doubles as a retreat for thai people. He was just over there for the month of February said the house is great, he's been over there a number of times and says he would have no problem living there full time. :toast:

Im gonna go back for like a month - I guess I should go to Chang Mai? also gonna go to Laos - I don't know but I don't think youre gonna have any problems unless whip out an 8-ball or start a fight - I never felt so safe in my life
