Attaporn Boonmakchuay was smiling as Thai television stations interviewed him in his hospital bed about the intimate intrusion, and doctors said he would recover. But photos of his blood-splattered bathroom in Chachoengsao province, east of Bangkok, were testimony to his ordeal.
The 38-year-old told Thai TV Channel 7 that he struggled to remove the snake for 30 minutes Wednesday before he managed to free himself with help from his wife and a neighbor. After his wife tied a rope around the snake, Attaporn pried open its jaws before passing out.

Rescuers arrived to find the python's head hanging from the bathroom door, secured by a rope, with the rest of the snake still stuck in the squat toilet at the man's home in Chachoengsao Province, east of Bangkok.
Blood is splattered across the bathroom floor where the man was bitten by the python.
The man lost a lot of blood but is now recovering at Chularat Hospital, according to hospital officials.
Emergency workers had to dismantle the toilet to remove the snake, which also survived the ordeal, according to rescue officer Danupol Tapo.

"This is all bizarre," he told CNN. "I had witnessed snakes [come] out of toilets many times, and when they bit [it] mostly would be at legs or butts. Not the penis, this is the first time."
The snake and the man both survived the ordeal.
Last year two pythons made their way into two Australian toilets in an attempt to find water.
"They're non-venomous, these snakes," Queensland snake catcher Elliot Budd told CNN in September. "They're not something to fear but it's best if you come across them to leave them alone."

I'm not aware of a "john" ever being arrested for paying for sex with a mutually consenting adult sex worker in Thailand.
Sex workers are often arrested for solicitation rather than recieving payment for sex or the act itself. This may be for
no other reason than to line the pockets of the poorly paid & corrupt police force or individual "arrresting" officer who
takes payment on the spot & stuffs it in his pocket.
Like fish caught & thrown back, after these ladies pay the fine they are released to return to work & earn more dough
for themselves & the cops, until their next raid.
Even according to the written law it is questionable whether prostitution (recieving pay for sex) is illegal in Thailand.
What's illegal is pimping, advertising, soliciting shamelessly, etc.
The law appears more concerned about the public image, or face, than the act itself.
