Tend to be very forthright and individualistic. Mainly from their Scotch-Irish heritage. They just tend to lack education. But make up for it with their charming folksy ways

I think a basement have the same area as the floor above them and are usually used for utilities(furnice, airconditioner, ect) whereas a celler is one room and were intended to be storage for canned goods and wine back before the refrigerator was invented.

To properly clarify what the correct general definition for a redneck/hillbilly should be: they have similar traits and lifestyles as what a particular group of black people that are commonly called ni66ers.

The only real difference is rednecks and hillbillies do not have black skin. '

None of the 3 groups would be a desired neighbor.

My own experience is that most white apologists and/or liberals have had 0 or very limited exposure to any of the three groups mentioned.

Both terms redneck and hillbilly have been distorted from what I grew up knowing them to be.
