Russia threatens nuclear attack on Poland over US missile shield deal

Russia threatened a nuclear strike against Poland after a landmark deal to site

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...ck-on-Poland-over-US-missile-shield-deal.html

Yep, that's right, folks -- it's America's fault.
Thud.gif

Obama's statement after Russian soldiers ransacked Georgia: Now, now everyone, I want to see cooler heads prevail on all sides -- especially you, Georgia. I mean it this time!

KGB thugs at the Kremlin: Nothing to see here, men. Obama is trying to sound tough again. Let's play another round of "The Fool" and drink some more vodka. :Carcajada:

If McCain becomes President how many of you republicans will be running down to enlist in the army to go fight Russians in Georgia?

If Russia were to put the same deal into Cuba or Venezuela what would you have your govt do, Joey??
Would you want them to authorize force ( I am not talking about nuclear weapons but , say, conventional)

Of course.

With that said, let me explain the concept of leverage -- something 'soft' Europe, JFK (who created the Cuban Missile 'crisis' himself by allowing himself to be bullied and buried by Kruschev months earlier at Vienna Summit) and dumb-ass starry-eyed Obama supporters don't understand...

So long as a Republican is President -- so long as America remains the undisputed military heavy weight -- that'll never happen.

Here, let me put it this way...

If you were driving a made-in-America 18 wheeler and some punk-ass in a Camaro challenged you to a game of chicken, would you accept it? (Bonus question: would ANYONE be stupid enough to try this? :missingte)

Next question: would you have the same confidence if you were driving a Mustang where your chances were only 50/50? Or bout a hummer -- 70/30?

Folks, when there is a parity (or perceived parity) between the good guys and bad guys, the result is always more games of chicken.

I know this is a too ridiculously simple concept for know-nothings like Prof Obama to comprehend, but it's the truth.

If you drive an 18 wheeler in a sea of punks in Mustangs and Camaros, there won't any games of chicken, because the punks -- as hot-headed as they may be -- recognize if they step over the line, they will get CRUSHED.

PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!

CHOOSE PEACE.

ELECTIONS MATTER.

V-O-T-E!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is all you need to know about the loony left...

"His final year as Russia's President has been his most successful yet. At home, he secured his political future. Abroad, he expanded his outsize—if not always benign—influence on global affairs."

They love him! They admire him! The spineless loony left has that same feeling toward Putin that teeny-boppers in the 60s used to get at a Beetles concert.

Foolish...the left is so, so, so foolish -- morally and intellectually imbecelic. :ohno:

and this means what about Russia planning to invade a Democratic country, lying about it, receiving international condemnation and defended only by the likes of a few Bush hating Americans like you again?

NOTHING, but then that's all you got anyways.

Maybe rubber stamp some more info off the Skeptical Optimist because what you’re trying to imply doesn’t make sense on many different levels. First of all, i only have a 4 year loan and it was only for 15k as i had a trade worth 12. I got that loan at 4.5%. So therefore i can afford to pay more to the principal each month. And even if i didn’t, the life of the loan would be paid in four years interest and principal. Quick, when was the last time the federal government has ever paid towards the principal of the national debt? By law, you have to pay the interest and that is all that the government does, thus with each fiscal year of red, you accumulate more debt, thus the never ending treadmill goes on. <st1:state><st1:place>Ill</st1:place></st1:state> own my car in four years, or at this rate in about three. When will the government own its debt back at this rate? I know it’s hard for you to wrap your brain around this, even thou your a big time day trader, but its really quite elementary if you think about it. It’s like comparing apples to oranges. PS - if you’re going to defend record setting deficits and try to spin them as being all fine and dandy, at least learn how to spell the word.

Be careful, Mr. "Fiscal Conservative"....REPO MAN is comin' to get ya...

:nohead:

Its the only debt i own, that is unless you count about 30k in school loans. My home is a flat and the other half (upstairs) pays rent. Its an old house and the area isnt the greatest but it was a sheriff sale 32 months ago and i paid only 13,500 for it (cash) and today its (allegedly) worth around 75. Most of the money came from pinnacle right before they shut down us Americans (Hey Joe at least you get to use Pinnacle still).

Fletch forgets that the president submits a budget to the Congress - the congress could cut - or increase - the budget any way they see fit:

<table class="contentpaneopen"><tbody><tr><td class="contentheading" width="100%">Wincing Dems are likely to raise the limit on debt </td></tr></tbody></table><table class="contentpaneopen"><tbody><tr><td colspan="2" align="left" valign="top" width="70%">By Elana Schor </td></tr><tr><td class="createdate" colspan="2" valign="top">Posted: 03/12/07 07:47 PM [ET] </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2" valign="top">Congressional Democrats are poised to take the politically uncomfortable but unavoidable step of raising again the federal debt ceiling, using the budget process to increase the nation’s credit limit even though they had hammered Republicans for making the same move in previous years.
</td></tr></tbody></table>

Hey BB, homework time.

Those are the deficits from 2002-2005

<table x:str="" style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 56pt;" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="75"><col style="width: 56pt;" width="75"> <tbody><tr style="height: 12.75pt;" height="17"> <td class="xl24" style="height: 12.75pt; width: 56pt;" x:num="" width="75" height="17">-157.8</td> </tr> <tr style="height: 12.75pt;" height="17"> <td class="xl24" style="height: 12.75pt; width: 56pt;" x:num="" width="75" height="17">-377.6</td> </tr> <tr style="height: 12.75pt;" height="17"> <td class="xl24" style="height: 12.75pt; width: 56pt;" x:num="" width="75" height="17">-412.7</td> </tr> <tr style="height: 12.75pt;" height="17"> <td class="xl24" style="height: 12.75pt; width: 56pt;" x:num="" width="75" height="17">-318.3</td> </tr> </tbody></table>
For an average of 316 trillion.

Here is the deficits from 2006 and 2007

<table x:str="" style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 56pt;" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="75"><col style="width: 56pt;" width="75"> <tbody><tr style="height: 12.75pt;" height="17"> <td class="xl24" style="height: 12.75pt; width: 56pt;" x:num="" width="75" height="17">-248.2</td> </tr> <tr style="height: 12.75pt;" height="17"> <td class="xl24" style="height: 12.75pt; width: 56pt;" x:num="" width="75" height="17">-244.2</td> </tr> </tbody></table>
For an average of 246 Trillion.

Now go back and find out who the Congress was in 2002-2005 and then again for 2006 and 2007. You know the guys as you say that
"the congress could cut - or increase - the budget any way they see fit".
Then lets see if you (like the others on both sides) play partisan party politics. You guys wouldnt know what conservatism is if it jumped and bit you in the face.

"Politicians are put there to give you that idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land, they own and control the corporations, and they’ve long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the State Houses, and the City Halls. They’ve got the judges in their back pockets. And they own all the big media companies so they control just about all the news and information you get to hear.

They’ve got you by the balls.

They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want; they want more for themselves and less for everybody else. But I’ll tell you what they don’t want—they don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That’s against their interest. You know something, they don’t want people that are smart enough to sit around their kitchen table and figure out how badly they’re getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago"

You are defending Russia by equating their actions with ours. You then throw as much bullshit against the wall as you can as you once again display your blinding and well known hatred for Bush.

what on earth do you think you're doing?

Your moral equivalence reeks.

I guess all the Cold War "experts" who were proven so unequivocally wrong in times past are now being dusted off and brought back to weigh in on Putin's hegemonic rise.

The Russian Bear is back -- and the perverted America-hating Bush-deranged left can hardly contain itself!

Before the America-hating left tried rewrite history claiming the harmless the Soviet Union would have eventually collapsed on it's own weight, this what they were saying back when the Cold War was at it's peak...

Folks, seriously, the best late night comedy writers couldn't make this stuff up.

Remember, being on the left means never having to say you're sorry. All is forgotten and it's on to the next crafty piece of bogus hysteria they think will win them an election.

If Russia helped rebuild my fucking world with billions and billions of dollars in financial aid I doubt I'd fear them much.

Of course, they're once again showing their true colors, at least Putin is. He's the man that doesn't want to give up power, the chit many haters accuse Bush of.

This debate is kinda funny. Sometimes you gotta know when to fold them.
