I agree about the national debt, I didn't vote for Obama, I voted libertarian. Do you think the national debt would be better off with a Republican? Does it really matter which major party is in power? They both like to spend. Our national debt doubled under the last republican president, and will probably double again under the next one.

I'm not sure Reno but I'm worried about other stuff I think is more important like National Security.

What's really funny is that all you RW crazies would have a HA if Bill could run again. He'd kick the shit out of any of the so called candidates you CS are running, including Trump. Give me another 4 yrs, rather than that imbecile who came later. You're ALL such phony pricks. All were willing I'm sure. BTW Cheney s/b executed for treason.
all this from someone commenting on Clinton's sexual depravity? you have a fuse as long as bill's cock i guess

Most are back to work here. The empty buildings are filled, almost all of the casinos that were shut down have reopened, and the housing market has recovered here. Tesla's opening shop here soon, which will be 1000's more great paying jobs. I'm not giving the credit to Obama, but I think most people are better off economically. 06-08 were some dark times, far worse than today.

Actually there has never been more people out of work than there are today. We crossed over 93 million Americans out of work this past year.

I'll start with two reasons:

1) Race relations in our country are as bad as I've seen them in 40 years.

2) The Middle East and the threat to the US is way worse.

+1000.

All depends upon how one wants to view the question. You yourself might be personally better off where regards your finances but on a broader scale you might not be as much better off as looking solely at your own personal situation would lead you to you believe that you are.

That's because of the massive Baby Boomer population reaching retirement age. It's a false talking point.

Yeah ya'll in Reno hit the Lottery with THAT, totallystunned by ya'lls good fortune but I am very very glad because the stepdad took me very young to the snow, poor ghetto rat I was, he rescued us then eventually took us to the snow, our very first vacation, very first road trip we had never ever even sen snow let alone been in it I suspect we did not even know that snow existed so I will never ever forget Virginia City, Carson City and The Biggest Little City in The World. Reno.

It just smelled so CLEAN THERE. Nothing like the ghetto which smelled like poopoo all the time.

....and no. It wasn't ME that smelled like the poopoo it was the whole place.

Is your life worse off? If I'm honest I'd have to say no. I'm better off economically than I was 8 years ago thats for sure and it's not even close.

I try not to talk politics anywhere, most of all here, but I’m with you 100% on this. Obama’s HARP program, restructuring of mortgages, saved me from possibly losing my house. I work in the casino industry and have seen the economic wave build since he got into office. Six years ago at least half of every visitor to Vegas was from another country. We were the Tijuana of the world because of our weak dollar. Now with our strong economy the domestic visitor volume is back to were it was. Numbers through Mccarran keep setting records every month. Forget the DOW, Vegas is a strong barometer of the nation’s economy.

My only regret is he can’t run for a third term.

Dont mean to sound like a dick but why do you need a government program to save your house? You can either afford it or not.

If you lose your job and can't afford it then rent it out.

If he did what does it matter? With GI Bill it means he served our country..Are you saying some blackjack dealing(?) or gambling fool(?) in vegas deserves the same benefits?

Just saying taking a hand out is taking a hand out. Does being a veteran make one special and deserving of welfare?
If Vegas Vic was a veteran would that make it okay that he got help with his house?

Actually no I didn't. I gave it to my kids.

Just curious, what does the GI Bill have to do with the HARP program? They are two very different things. The GI Bill has to be earned and is a benefit for your service commitment. HARP is a government program designed to help those who can't help themselves.
