And that doesn't even begin to touch on the mental health issues involved. Of course, homosexuality for decades was listed as a mental disorder by the APA, until the
militant gay activists bullied them into delisting it (for no scientific reason whatsoever).

you're sick.

and batshit crazy as another poster pointed out.

You don't seem to understand that more than 15,000 people die every year from AIDS in America.

Being gay kills people

I'm sorry you can't understand, but even public health officials will admit this.

You don't seem to understand that anyone can get AIDS, not just gay people. You are talking about having unprotected sexual intercourse.

I got news for you, if you run around and have unprotected sex than you chances of dying from AIDS goes up. Or getting any STD. You act like only gay people suffer from these.

Show me where this is the case.

This still doesn't answer the question on how it affects me? My family? or YOU?

It doesn't. It never will. You can tell me it will. If I go to their wedding will I die? Please explain some more.

And Zit, when someone tells me that being gay KILLS, yeah, I will call them a homophob because that is what they are.

I don't hide the fact I despise gay marriage, that doesn't make me a homophobe, no matter how many times you want to try and put that label on me troll-boy.

lol.

You just said gay people should be considered mentally ill. If that is not homophobic then literally nothing is.

Zit,

Where I have problem with your POV, is that you stated that America's beliefs are rooted in a Jeudo-Christian value system. While that is mostly true, this country also provides the freedom of religion, thus allowing people believe and choose what they think is morally right or wrong.

I will say that people like you should not be criticized for a having a dissenting opinion on gay rights. While we may disagree, I believe that your opinion should be allowed be heard as freely as anyone in favor of gays rights.

Zit,

Ask any kid who grew up without parents if they want gay parents or no parents or parents who abuse them. They would take the gay couple all day.

Being gay kills people.

That is a fact.

Running around sticking your dick in everyone will kill you. Maybe not the disease but eventually you'll get to someone who is cared about by someone else and that someone else will blow your head off.

This thread has gone to the extreme so I will continue it.

I have to go pick up my daughter from dance clkass, hopefully some gay married couple don't car jack me and shoot me in the head on their way to Crate and Barrel.

Just to be clear, I think gay people should be treated with respect, as any other person in our society, I don't think they are lesser in any way. They can even have their "civil union" from our civil government if that makes them happy (with the same tax benefits as marriage). I (and ~50% of this country) don't think that the definition of marriage should
be changed.

Obviously

Like gay couples would be any worse than straight ones. The argument is ridiculous.

My only issue with that is that this is an issue dealing with human equality, not whether or not ketchup is better than mustard. By holding and living his views on this he is harming people and making their lives more difficult for really no reason at all.

100% horseshit, Justin are you trying to see how many lies you can fit into one thread?

I already tried to explain this to him . He still said it was child abuse.

As clearly evidenced by your comments like they should all be considered mentally ill and are destroying western civilization.

You're one step away from becoming a member of westboro baptist haha

The reason why this argument holds no water is because the number of single family homes kids in this country come from.

Except that this actually buttresses my point. Studies have shown that kids that comes from single parent homes (in general) are less successful, and are less successful and well-adjusted in society.

FZ,

To clarify, you aren't opposed to gay people living their life and being treated wit respect, just the idea of marriage. However, a gay couple getting married in no way shape or form diminishes the relationship between a marred couple M/F.
