The TouthouseMax,

You also stated,

"You and your ilk have chosen a profession that is rife with scammsters and theives."

You say this as if the majority of the services in this industry are dishonest. However you have yet to show the public any proof that the majority of this industry is crooked.

You keep on repeating this but you've shown nothing to show the majority of touts aren't crooked. I hate to be obtuse but you are the one trying to change minds here, not us. We have our beliefs and you started this thread either looking for why people hate touts or why touts have a bad rep. You're asking for us to change your mind.... we know why you like and defend them... you make money off of them. Instead of asking for proof why don't you show US some proof. Just an idea....

This was the exact answer I expected.

People never cease to amaze me. Yes, I support honest touts and yes, I have every intention of advertising the honest ones on my website. I will also use the same diligence in exposing the ones that give the industry a bad wrap.

Max,

Have you every heard of the saying "Innocent Until Proven Guilty". It just so seems that I will apply this to your comment.

Thank You

Innocent till proven guilty doesn't apply to people who want my money... and that's as plain as I can make it.... but to tell you the truth I was expecting a little more out of you than that pat answer. Do you really expect us to believe you're going to refund a tout's money that has prepaid you if you find him fudging on his record at your site? I'm not saying you wouldn't because I don't know you but I'll stick by caveat emptor when it comes to dealing with these sites and money. Money is said to be the root of all evil and although I don't agree with that entirely I don't discount it either. You opened your site to make money..... and you take money from touts and you profit whether they have a winning record or not. So deep down why would you really give a shit whether or not your advertisers are honest? There's no reason for you to.... and apathy goes along way when money is involved.

I'm sorry you feel that way. You must have been scammed by one of the "bad apples" of the sports handicapping service industry. My only hope is that in the future this kind of thing doesn't continue to happen.

I respect you for your opinion and wish you luck.

Think of this: If they were really that good, why would they need your money? If someone could successfully win 55% or higher, and most clam 70,75,80%+ on their "lock" plays, or game of the year plays, or game of the month, or upset of the month. There is no game in the history of professional sports that has an 80% chance to win, period! If you believe that, then your the reason they thrive. If a handicapper could hit 55% or more consistently, he doesn't need your money, period! That is why all the real handicappers are not in that business! They don't need to be! They can make money on their own, without you financing their habit!
