People will overreact to what they just saw

All of these teams are flawed this year. I was at the game and it was definitely not what I expected, but I think Ravens got a little bit of good fortune

I think Dolphins also left a bit of meat on the bone against Dallas. I think they will be able to have success moving the ball.

Baltimore tends to be more dangerous when they’re in a role like last night as an underdog. They come out flat at home as a favorite pretty often, and I see that happening to some level here

IDK Lamar is doing some special stuff right now.
Quality of opponent is something you'd need to consider here.

Personally I don't thing Dallas is great but that might just be coaching.

Leaning Baltimore here @-4 at home.

It'll be interesting watching this line up to Thursday

Don't think that Balty will let down here. They lost outright to Miami the last two years, last year in Baltimore. Miami still hasn't proven that they can beat anyone. Dallas is a shit road team. And Miami is a strong home team.

Balty had their first real test of the year last night and they passed with flying colors. Miami lost to Buff, Philly, and KCy on the road this year. They beat the Chargers, New England, the Jets and Wash on the road this year. There is no doubt that the Ravens should be -4. I think they should be -7 and I think they'll win easily.

We'll see what happens. Think this is a mini-let down spot for them

I think Miami matches up favorably with them as well

I'm definitely taking the 4 points, and probably going to just bet the Dolphins on the money line

PS The emerging sleeper in the AFC mix is Cleveland. Despite being totally dinged up their Defense is ferocious, Flacco has reenergized the offense with his remarkable ability to still throw the ball long and medium and short. They have already split with Baltimore. Clev got croaked in the first game in Week 5 as Thompson Robinson made his first NFL start. Then they won a squeaker in Baltimore with Watson under center. I think Flacco is a lot better QB than either of those guys.

If they can get some of their defensive starters back for the Playoffs, watch out.

Lamar is a STUD vs the NFC teams as they see him once every 4 years. The dolphins have faced Lamar a bunch of times including the last 2 years.

Baltimore coming off as the MOST impressive team in week 16. However, usually the most impressive team 1 week usually lets down the next week after all the hype given to them. Ravens did a GREAT job on Purdy last nite which gave Lamar and the gang great field position the entire game.

I have no clue how Sunday's game goes and which dolphins team shows up. Dolphins would LOVE a 1 seed but they'd rather be healthy going into the playoffs. Would love to see get at least a 2 seed but we'll see what happens.

Would love a home game in round 2 and NOT face the bills in round 1

I'm a big Lamar fan, always have been. No doubt he is playing well.

Quality of opponent goes both ways though. Miami has come up short against some good teams, but they have also taken care of business rather emphatically (except for the weird gag against the Titans)

A lot of these other teams have struggled. You can point out Buffalo's wins recently, but also look at some pretty awful performances against shitty teams (Patriots, Jets, Broncos kinda falling into that category now too)

Ravens also really tend to struggle in spots like this

I liked them going in last night, but really like Miami here. Look-ahead line was 3

This should be a good game regardless though

Everyone says this though

Therefore they’re not overrated

Can’t disappoint if no one respects you
When you can't beat anyone contending, you're not a contender.

Granted, these are subjective labels, but it's not complicated.

The Chiefs haven't shown this poor form in years, and Miami couldn't even beat them at their lowest ebb. But the Raiders can?

Plus, their coach doesn't do well under pressure.

The performance from both teams in the Pretender Bowl left much to be desired but also reflective of your own original hesitation and the PK'em line.

Note how Vegas respects Baltimore this week a hell of a lot more than they did Miami at home against the Cowboys.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Miami win, actually think they will, but I don’t like their chances in the playoffs.
