You simply can't complain about calls in the NBA

It is what it is

I agree that he does carry the ball at times. James Hardin does the same thing, and it's one reason he's so hard to guard.

I wish the NBA would clamp down on the carries (and travels).

Agreed. They also need to do something these ridiculous 3pt fouls. Seems like only the high profile gets these calls and they get them all the time, like Harden. They jump into the defender flail their arms and legs around get barely touched then go to the line for 3 shots, boring, stupid. Kills the game for me.

One game away from the conference finals...

When I posted this thread, Boston was down 2-0 and I had no idea Rondo would be out. Had I known that giant pussy wasn't going to play the rest of the series, wouldn't have posted it.

Still think Boston is the worst I've ever seen. Had Rondo played, they would've been bounced in the first round.

Rondo sucks, the C's were lethargic in both games one and two and they made him look great

If tragedy didn't strike IT's sister, the Bulls don't win games one and two to begin with

and the Wizards >>>>>>>>>>>>> the Bulls

Wall>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Rondo

PS: and the C's are not the best team in the East, and they are a below average number one seed

It wont happen but if they advance and play cleveland and beat them how big of an underdog would they be vs golden state? Would probably have to be the biggest underdogs in title history.

Come on man, Rondo was making everything go. The minute he was injured, the Bulls shit the bed.

Through two games, he averaged 11.5 points, 10 assists, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals.

Guy was almost averaging a triple double through the first two games.

I definitely wouldn't chalk up the way the Bulls were playing just to the IT family tragedy, but it played a role. Game 1 was a hard fought back and forth game, it isn't like the Celts just laid down. The main "flukey" thing that happened in that game was Bobby Portis shotmaking.

But if you replay the series with no tragedy and no Rondo injury, I think the line of C's -380ish (the pre-series line) is probably a little high, but it wouldn't be too much lower than that. Maybe C's -320 range.

C's would probably be like +550 vs Cle, +1300ish vs GS. SA/Hou probably +550 range vs GS

Cle probably like +260 vs GS. Just to cover everything.

And to my knowledge, LAL vs Phi in '01 is the highest finals line I've seen. LAL was like -1300 after sweeping through the western conference en route to the finals.

The two losses to Chicago can be attributed to the pall that was cast over the Cs when Thomas' sister died in a car crash the day before the Playoffs began. Took those two losses to shake them loose.

As for this massive upset stuff, be careful. We heard the same thing going into the Washington series. The Cs had no chance. Well they could still blow this thing but after five games they clearly have a chance.

The C's beat both Cleveland and Golden State during the regular season. As discussed earlier in this thread, this team has been overachieving for two years now under Brad Stevens. Be careful making them the biggest dog ever. They just might bite you.
