This thread cracks me up. The PAC 1 is nothing more than the WAC with 1 good team. PSU will easily cover in this game and will most likely win SU. USC has not played a defense that is even close to PSU's and USC's D is OVERRATED due to its schedule. Who can't stop Washington, Washington ST, Arizona ST....Blah Blah Blah.

PSU covers and if this game were on a neutral field easily wins. Talk all you want...but that's all it is...Talk.

Exactly, but you left out Stanford, Cal, UCLA, Arizona, and the 2 Oregon schools. Don't insult the WAC. Boise beat Oregon in supposedly intimidating Autzen Stadium. Agree, the only major advantage USC has in the Rose Bowl is that it's a home game (the Pac crap does a good job of insulating their teams in bowl games - either a site advantage or playing a lower seeded team from opposing conference. No wonder they are favored in every bowl game). Surprised USC officials aren't doing the game.

USC's defense didn't play a single offense worth a shit all yr, but don't tell that to their fans. The competition is irrelevant to them when it comes to the stats of their defense - could there be a dumber argument? Nobody mentions that Cal and Ohio State had game-tying TDs taken off the board on phantom calls. Go back and watch the 1st half of the Stanford game. Stanford DOMINATED Usc. If not for 2 long kick returns, USC is down 2 Tds at the half of that game. Stanford's horrific offense went up and down the field on them with a slower than shit RB and barely an above avg high school QB. And Oregon State? You would think the game didn't happen. Just chalk it up to a "fluke" or something. With an offense that would be near the bottom of the Big 12, they ran trap after trap up the gut on USC and physically dominated their front 7.

Noob, you aren't serious when you write this, are you? :think2: "Easily wins?"
Even on a neutral field, I don't think so.

BTW, I am a USC alum and I am seriously considering taking Penn State + 10.5 (buy hook -120).

Why?

One reason. A very IMPORTANT one!

WIN ONE FOR THE MODERN DAY "GIPPER" - JOE PA!

Hey whormoan, did you hear that Riley won coach of the year and Jacquizz Rogers player of the year in the Pac? Unfortunately, when they all return a year wiser they will have to play USC at the coliseum in '09.

I really don't care if it's in the Pac-10 or MWC, giving up 7 points PER GAME speaks volumes of a defense. I'd give the same credit to a team that played in any other BCS conference.

Will you be spouting the same garbage after USC shuts down Penn State for 4 quarters? Of course you will, because you will ALWAYS have more excuses as to why USC beats down the Big 10 when they play in the Rose Bowl every year.

You're extremely lucky that USC fucks up to a Pac team every year, because they'd make a mockery of your anti-USC agenda.

Lmao..i knew Conan wouldnt let me down...like watching a midget try to dunk a basketball...hahhahahahhah...have you ever seen someone type so many words and say almost nothing? Dont worry folks..he's just getting started.......

It didn't take long to find out that you've been losing your ass betting PSU for years. It's kind of like watching a homer in disguise pretending he knows what he's doing. Your Lions are going to get clocked but you don't know it yet. You have learned nothing from your past mistakes. You will never learn. I bet you disappear again after PSU is humiliated by USC. I hope this post gives you another good laugh. It will be the last thing anyone hears from you for a long time after the Rose Bowl is done. So enjoy it until you have no reasons left (again) and then go wherever it is you go to hide.

No PAC 1 school outside of USC would be in the top 5 of any other BCS conference. The PAC 1 is just pure shit when it comes to football. PSU will easily cover this spread and they have a strong shot at winning SU. You west coasters blow smoke every year at the PAC 1 when in reality they suck.
