I stream 4k over wireless with no problem
Router is upstairs, main tv is downstairs
I get ~150 download over wifi in the living room
Box has a speedtest app on it, as long as you're getting 100+ over wifi you should be fine

That said, if you can hard-wire it to router that is ideal. Just not an option for me.

I'm only getting 65 MB per sec... I need to call Suddenlink and see what can be done about that...

I'd strongly recommend using an ethernet cable. It's always going to be better than WiFi. Why not maximize your speed? You can get one dirt cheap off Amazon. I've had only 25mb internet for the two years I've had my Savages, and thanks to the ethernet cables I've had very few issues.

I run one ethernet (Hustle, no antenna), and one upstairs, wirelessly (Savage). Both work flawlessly and stream great...

Ordered a savage... cant wait

Glad to see you break down and get one bud. I assume you got a Savage II (purple box) which just came out this year. I don't have any personal experience with it, but I know you're gonna love it.

Enjoy...

It takes about 3 weeks at the moment as a new order is about to be placed, unless you know a vendor that has some in stock, I don't currently...

I am one of those posters......LEGIT as MM says. Customer service is just as good if not better then the purchase itself. The "ONLY" downside is it will take awhile to learn how to use the box to its fullest and all the kinks that may or may not come with making sure you can troubleshoot things yourself. There are a lot of easy fixes to maximize the box, but learning and remembering them takes time. Shit, I learn something every week to that helps out. Diego's customer support is top notch.
