SEE WHO TOPS THE LISTS: Members of Congress whose immigration actions really protect J-O-B-S

Lots of big talk about J-O-B-S these last few days before the elections, but we've prepared a list of 20 U.S. Representatives and 19 U.S. Senators who are the best in Congress at consistently taking immigration actions that really protect jobs for American workers.
We are engaged in a national public relations campaign to publicize the wonderful work of these Members of Congress.
In the Senate, we are spotlighting the 19 who over the last two Congresses (2005-2008) have earned a NumbersUSA immigration-reduction grade of A-minus, A or A+. Only 19 of the 100 have earned the right to be called:
GRADE-A SENATORS FOR SENSIBLE IMMIGRATION (to protect U.S. workers & quality of life)
Click here to see the full list of Grade-A Senators:
http://www.numbersusa.com/content/learn/illegal-immigration/numbersusa-recognizes-grade-a-senators.html
In the U.S. House of Representatives, we are publicizing the best 10 of each Party. These 20 Members have outperformed 95% of their colleagues in protecting wages and jobs for American workers. We call them:
TOP TEN in the HOUSE (for sensible immigration to protect U.S. jobs & quality of life)
Click here to see the full list of Top Ten Representatives:
http://www.numbersusa.com/content/learn/illegal-immigration/numbersusa-recognizes-top-ten-house-demo.html
All of these Top Ten elected officials earned A-Grades for their immigration actions, as did nearly 100 other pro-worker Representatives. But these Top Ten Members of the House earned the best grades of all.
DEFYING THEIR PARTY'S LEADERS

All of these 39 pro-American-worker politicians share the common courage of defying the national leaders of their political Party.
The Party leaders are willing to abandon vulnerable American workers for the sake of both high illegal and high authorized immigration because of special interests that make money or gain power from high immigration.
The Republicans on Sensible Immigration lists had to oppose the President and White House from their own Party. They had to oppose this year's Presidential nominee of their own Party. There were political risks to standing up for the workers in their Districts and states, but they did it -- time after time.
The Democrats on these lists probably had to be even more courageous. Not only do their national Party leaders and Presidential candidate push for mass amnesties and increased importation of foreign workers, but so do the Democratic leaders of both the House and Senate.
Fortunately, Members of Congress from both Parties have attitudes much like that of Rep. John Barrow (D-Ga.) who told a NumbersUSA conference last spring that whenever there is an immigration-policy conflict between what the leaders of his Party ask him to do and what the workers of his District need him to do, he will defy Party leaders without hesitation.
I hope you who read this blog will share it with many other Americans so they can see it really is possible for politicians to put American workers and communities first when it comes to immigration policies.
WHAT WE GRADED

I certainly hope you click on the links above to look at the Senators and Representatives whose immigration actions are the model for the nation.
These Members of Congress earned their grades based on their immigration votes on the floor and in committees of the U.S. Senate, and on their co-sponsorship of legislation in the current Congress and the previous one (2005-2008).
Through their immigration actions, they have done more than most Senators:
 • to restore respect for the rule of law and reduce illegal immigration
 • to help American workers avoid cuts in their wages and loss of jobs to foreign workers
 • to improve the employment possibilities of the most vulnerable Americans, especially the Hispanic and Black underclasses
 • to protect environmental resources from federally-forced population growth
 • to spare communities from worsening congestion and quality of life
 • to reduce the growth in U.S. energy demand
NumbersUSA's grades reflect every recorded action by these Senators and Representatives which would affect overall immigration numbers. NumbersUSA positively grades all actions that would reduce both illegal and authorized immigration.
These 39 Members of Congress have contributed greatly through their immigration actions toward a more economically just and environmentally sustainable America.
(NumbersUSA Action is a non-partisan, non-profit organization with more than 850,000 online activist members who work for lower overall immigration numbers that don't force U.S. population growth and congestion and that don't depress American wages. NumbersUSA does not treat race, ethnicity or national origin as a factor in immigration policy, and never endorses candidates for elections.)

Re: SEE WHO TOPS THE LISTS: Members of Congress whose immigrati

I am with you on your drive to protect the American Worker & to reveal the patriotic congressman from those who are not, however I can't help but think that if we achieve success in controlling legal immigration & stopping illegal immigration there is eventually only one possible future outgrowth. The 'Corporate Monsters' will move more & more jobs out of the country in their constant attempt for lower labor costs so they can boost the never ending bottom line - profits. At that point we will need legislation to prevent corporates from farming out these jobs. I believe this will be our future task. Why is enough never enough? Globalization certainly seems to serve the special interests quite well, too bad it doesn't do much for the citizens of the countries of the world.

Sorry Roy, cant support your

Sorry Roy, cant support your A rating for our two Georgia Senators. They only were for the NumbersUSA position after GA voters blasted both of them for going along with Bush and the Democrats to Balkanize this country. I wouldnt trust either one of them after this election not to revert to their previous position supporting amnesty. Chambliss is now in deep trouble in GA and I doubt that he will be reelected because of both his previous stance on immigration and supporting the bailout. We have long memories down here and will not forget when Isakson comes up for reelection.
FROM ROY: I see your points. But our grades are based on each Member's actual votes and co-sponsorships. If they supported something really terrible but withdrew their support, our computer doesn't count their earlier support. Yes, Chambliss and Isakson both colluded with McCain & Kennedy to produce their Comprehensive Amnesty bill. But to the Georgia Senators' credit when Georgia citizens erupted in furor, they changed their position, withdrew their support, brought some other Senators with them and voted against the atrocity. Our grades are based on their votes and co-sponsorships. The grades reflect nothing about character or true commitment. But the turning point to defeating the McCain/Kennedy/Bush amnesty was when Chambliss & Isakson rejected it.

Sadly, our Sens. from Ohio

Sadly, our Sens. from Ohio are bottom feeders on the illegal immigration issue. We are a little better on the house side but we have to get more than a C effort from our politico's for the good of our state. Kudo's to Numbers USA for giving Ohioans a great tool to advance this cause.

Re: SEE WHO TOPS THE LISTS: Recognizing immigration voters in C

I am glad to see Nancy Boyda from Kansas on the Top Ten list in the House. She stood up to party leadership to sign the discharge petition for the SAVE Act, not an easy thing to do for a freshman member of congress. The Democratic party desperately needs people with her convictions, judgment and leadership ability to move the majority party in a reasonable direction on immigration.

Can you also post a rogues

Can you also post a rogues gallery of the 10 worst? There are so many to choose from...
FROM ROY: Good idea. We'll try to do something special for the biggest enemy of American workers -- next week some time. But, as you suggest, there are so many pure stinkers, it is going to be tough to decide on who deserves the "honor." When these particular officials fill in on-line registration forms, instead of a field to fill in the "honorific" (as in "Sen." or "Rep."), they have a field to fill in the "ordorific!"

Good to see an organization give credit where credit is due.It is hard to find articles that are not bashing or playing politics with issues instead of realistically addressing the problems. It is very refreshing to read all the topics and statistics on NumbersUSA.Politicians can learn a lot by the non-partisan character of your website.I have already made my Representative Brad Ellsworth aware of the credit given. Thanks for all the work you do.

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=622 align=center border=0><TBODY><TR><TD align=left colSpan=3>Can illegal aliens lawfully produce a citizen child? We really don't know, because there has never been a U.S. Supreme Court ruling on the current interpretation of the 14th Amendment.

Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS), recently assigned Senior Writing Fellow, Mark Cromer, to interview one of the nation's outstanding authorities on this subject. This video featuring Chapman University Dean and Constitutional Scholar John Eastman will enlighten you about the law's original intent. We are sending you a link to the video of his analysis and his suggestions about what can, and, in his opinion, should be done to reverse current policy. Dr. Eastman explains why the 14th Amendment does not give the children of illegal immigrants, tourists or diplomats, automatic citizenship at birth and offers three potential methods to correct current practice.

If you agree that something needs to be done about the mistaken application of this 1868 amendment, please contact those who represent you in Congress through our website www.CAPSweb.org. Pending bills as they are introduced on this topic, will be described, and a pre-written letter that you can send or adapt will be emailed via CAPS Action Alert System.

Caps' website will also keep you current on the progress of a California initiative on this subject, which will be on the ballot in 2010, if the signature gathering phase is successful.

NAMES IN GREEN WITH YELLOW HIGHLIGHT are True Immigration Reform Candidates committed to ending illegal immigration and reducing overall immigration levels (as reflected in the 12 categories of the survey).
NAMES IN GREEN are incumbents who generally support reductions in illegal immigration. They haven't taken the survey and their actions in Congress aren't quite good enough to qualify as a True Immigration Reform candidate. But their overall Recent immigration actions have earned them better than a "B" grade.

NAMES IN PURPLE are candidates who generally support reductions but their answers on the survey did not quite qualify them as True Immigration Reform candidates.

NAMES IN RED are candidates who completed the immigration survey, but whose answers identify them as more opposed than supportive of overall immigration reductions (illegal and legal) -- or they are incumbents whose Recent immigration actions in Congress have earned them worse than a "C" grade.

ABI NEVER ENDORSES CANDIDATES. Our highlighting of some candidates is to help citizens know who is most likely to work for reducing overall immigration so citizens can factor that information into their voting decisions. But we realize that voters mark their ballot based on many issues and judgments about the character and leadership of a candidate. We don’t presume to suggest the best candidate for your overall needs and interests. And, NumbersUSA is strictly non-partisan, with no preference for one party or another.

as a True Immigration Reform Candidate
Americans for Better Immigration (ABI) selects races to highlight without any regard to political party. ABI is non-partisan and does not endorse candidates.

We know that people cast their ballots for lots of reasons and rarely based on a single issue.
But when factoring the issue of immigration into their decisions, citizens can depend on ABI
to provide as clear of a view as possible of which candidates are more likely to support the
enforcement of immigration laws and to reduce overall immigration.
When you click on the link for a race ...

You will see a grid that compares candidates' positions on various immigration issues. These positions have been ascertained by looking at actual voting records, at statements in the media, and at surveys we have sent them and they have answered.
We make changes in the comparison pages daily if any new information emerges. If you see any errors or have additions to suggest, or if you want to suggest other races to include, or if you want to make the case that we have listed a race that is inappropriate, please contact us.

Mr. Jim M
PO Box Ohio

Rep. Marcy Kaptur
2366 Rayburn House Office Building, US House of Representatives
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Representative Kaptur,
Congress can put seven million jobless Americans back to work by enabling them to obtain jobs that are currently occupied by illegal workers.

Congress can quickly create a cost-effective job-creation program by passing the E-Verify reauthorization without the additions of hundreds of thousands of foreign workers that a few Members of Congress are insisting on. This is not a time to point fingers at those who help workplace enforcement hostage to the demands of the cheap labor lobby. This is a time to work towards a solution to the problems that jobless Americans face today. With E-Verify, employers can verify that their employees are legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Congress should supplement the E-Verify reauthorization by passing the bi-partisan SAVE Act, which enjoyed widespread support in Congress, but never reached a vote because Congressional leaders blocked it from reaching the floor. The SAVE Act would provide phased-in mandatory verification systems for businesses over four years. It would be nice, for a change, for Congress to make decisions on immigration policy - including enforcement, regulations and proposals to Congress - based on the effect such policies would have on the growing number of American workers out of work.
Cordially,

Mr. Jim M

P.S. Thanks & please refer to http://numbersusa.com/video

Dialing 1 for English is a crock of shit

Official English wins by a landslide in Missouri

ARLINGTON, VA – “Voters spoke decisively Tuesday on a ballot measure in Missouri to enact English as the official language of their state government,” says K.C. McAlpin, executive director of ProEnglish.
“Our organization urged Missourians to vote ‘yes’ on constitutional amendment No. 1 to enshrine English as the official language in the state constitution,” McAlpin said. “Unfortunately the United States is one of the few countries in the world without an official language. So having official English in a state constitution is important to protect it from being thrown out by activist judges who want to substitute their own rule for that of the people,” he added.

"The Missouri measure won by 89 percent in a state that narrowly split its presidential vote between Barack Obama and John McCain,” McAlpin notes. “This landslide vote confirms national polls reflecting that a vast majority of Americans – Democrat, Republican and independent— reject costly and confusing multilingualism and support English as our nation’s official language."

Dear NumbersUSA Faxer,
Please sign our petition asking President-elect Barack Obama to support American workers over illegal aliens by rejecting an illegal alien amnesty. (The text of the petition is at the bottom of this email.)
Illegal aliens take jobs opportunities away from the most vulnerable Americans in skilled and unskilled positions. To force through an amnesty for illegal aliens would hurt American workers.
It is very important that you both sign the petition and ask your friends to sign it too (we'll show you how to refer your friends).

Petition to President-Elect Obama to Reject Amnesty for Illegal Aliens
Repeatedly on the campaign trail, President-Elect Obama pledged to be a strong advocate for America's workers, particularly to help get the unemployed back to work. Yet, the Obama staff continue to proclaim support for legalizing the estimated 7 million illegal foreign workers (plus their families). These illegal workers are primarily in the construction, service and manufacturing jobs, but also in higher skilled jobs, being actively sought by the 10 million officially unemployed Americans.
A legalization program would permanently remove 7 million jobs from being available for American workers. We the undersigned urge President-Elect Obama (1) to reject legalization and (2) to make vulnerable Americans your priority, mandating workplace verification to open up millions of jobs to U.S. citizens and lawfully present immigrants.

Petition to Congress Protesting Illegal Alien Amnesty 'Guest Worker' Legislation and U.S. Social Security Totalization With Mexico
We, The Undersigned, urge that you do everything possible to STOP both the proposed illegal alien Amnesty "guest worker" legislation and the U.S. Social Security Totalization Agreement with Mexico.
Both of these would allow illegal immigrants, mostly from Mexico, to gain legal status and access to Social Security benefits. Worse, under both, these persons would be able to claim benefits for their relatives, children and other dependents, and our government has NO IDEA of the cost!
Given the problems already facing Social Security, ANY new outlays will only speed up the day when benefits will be cut and taxed. You MUST stop these two outrageous attacks on Social Security.

Unfortunately, this is already Mohr’s fifth year of a prison sentence that she does not deserve. With your help though, we can get this innocent officer out of jail and reunited with her son.
This is the last chance that we have to help Stephanie.
In September of 1995, Mohr was on patrol with her police dog Valk. She was patrolling Takoma Park, an area that had been known to have many recent burglaries. When Mohr and her partner, Sergeant Anthony Delozier, got a call for backup from an officer who had spotted two men on the roof of a nearby store, they knew they may have found the criminals.
Ricardo Mendez and Herrera Cruz were the two suspects who were ordered to get down and face the wall. Mendez then made a move that looked as if he were about to flee the scene.
As Mohr had been trained to do in this type of situation, she released her canine. Valk, the police dog, was trained to perform the police department’s standard “bite and hold” and that is exactly what he did. The dog bit Mendez on the leg and held him there until the officers could apprehend him.
Mendez and Herrera were convicted of 4th degree burglary and were then deported. The two illegally re-entered the U.S. again and were arrested for selling crack cocaine. They were then deported a second time.
Stephanie was relieved that she had gotten these two criminals off of our streets and back to their country.
She soon gave birth to her son Adam and was a proud mother.
Unfortunately, her joy did not last very long. Five years after this incident and one day before the statue of limitations was set to expire, Mohr was indicted by the U.S Department of Justice.
Looking for cases of “police brutality” the U.S Department of Justice indicted Stephanie and two fellow officers charging them with conspiracy charges and violating Ricardo Mendez’s civil rights.
At the trial, Officer Mohr was found not guilty of conspiracy. A hung jury, voting 11 to 1 in favor of Mohr failed to reach a unanimous verdict on the civil right charges.
The prosecutor sought a retrial that was held in 2001. The trial was scheduled even though the jurors from the first trial said that the case lacked merit. At this trial the prosecution convinced the jury that Mohr had released her canine on innocent minority citizens.
In this second trial, the judge allowed prejudicial testimony into evidence that Mohr had used racial epithets in making a prior arrest using her canine. The charges did not start out as racial but the prosecutors needed to do something desperate to save their case. This questionable evidence should not have been allowed into the courtroom.

The jury was stacked with minorities who would be sympathetic with illegal immigrants. The government even flew Mendez back into the U.S. at taxpayer expense. They did this in order to have Mendez testify against Mohr despite the fact that he was a convicted felon.

Because of the racial tactics the prosecution had to use to save their failing case, Stephanie was convicted of a federal criminal rights violation and given a maximum 10-year prison sentence.

Stephanie is now serving her fifth year of the ten year prison sentence.

This is the fifth year that she has had to spend away from her son Adam. She has missed so many important days in her son’s life like birthdays and holidays because of this prison sentence she does not deserve.

Stephanie has not lost hope though. She has faith in the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund. We are doing everything we can to help Mohr.

We have appealed the trial Courts decision denying Stephanie a new trial to the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit in Richmond, Virginia.

Last month we filed our “request for a Commutation of Sentence” to President George W. Bush.

With just four months left in his administration, President Bush is now reviewing Pardon requests. You and I both know that no one in the country deserves her freedom more than Stephanie Mohr.

heartframe.jpg
Stephanie’s eight year old son has now spent the last 5 years of his life without his mother by his side.

Five years of her life have been wasted in prison because she followed police procedure when she ordered her police dog Valk to stop a suspect from fleeing the scene. Five years that can NEVER EVER be given back.
The suspect – an illegal alien from San Salvador – was convicted of selling drugs and deported. ---- But outrageously the prosecutor brought him back, at public expense, to testify against Stephanie.

And Stephanie was convicted of “violating” his civil rights.

Just as unfair as the charges, the Judge, blindly following the recommendation of the Civil Rights Division, imposed a draconian ten-year sentence that both Stephanie and her son Adam are both serving. What can be more outrageous!!!

Now with President Bush only four months away from the end of his term, this may be our last chance to free Stephanie.

If you agree that its time to send this innocent mother home to her son, won’t you please help fund our crucial “Request for Commutation of Sentence” to the U.S. Department of Justice by sending your most generous tax deductible contribution to The Law Enforcement Defense Fund by clicking here today.

We strongly believe that Mohr has been wrongly accused and innocent of this crime. Stephanie did not cross any boundaries while trying to apprehend Mendez. Mohr followed all the police procedures as she was trained to do.

In order to protect the public, which was her main concern, she had to release her canine to ensure that Mendez could not escape and pose a further threat to the community.

We here at LELDF (see who we are) hope that you as an American citizen can realize that this sentence is unjust. Mendez is an illegal alien who is receiving more benefits than Mohr, a police officer who protected the public for over nine years.

We are asking you to show your support by giving a gift of $25, $50, or any amount that you can afford. This gift of any amount is tax-deductible.

LELDF is assisting Stephanie with all the legal costs for the appeal and for the Petition for Commmutation of Sentence.

Stephanie’s appeal asks the federal judge to review her conviction based on evidence in court documents that a witness against her lied, saying she used a racial slur and that this lie influenced the jury to convict her.

LELDF is trying to help Stephanie Mohr in any way we can. But, we cannot do it alone. We need your support to help Stephanie obtain her rightfully deserved freedom.

Your contribution of any amount will greatly impact our efforts in supporting Stephanie.

By the time Stephanie gets out of prison, her son Adam will almost be a teenager. Mohr has lost some of the most crucial moments in Adams life. This is every mother’s worst nightmare. We need to help her get out of prison as soon as possible so she can be reunited with her son.

Any donation that you can contribute will help our cause in giving Stephanie her freedom. She deserves to know that we appreciate all her hard work and sacrifices.

We thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,
martin-sign.gif

David H. Martin
Chairman
P.S. Stephanie Mohr was only performing her job the way she was trained how. Mendez is an illegal alien who should not even be in the U.S. Please do not let this mother be torn apart from her son any longer. Won’t you please help LELDF to reunite Stephanie and Adam? Thank you!

Please support tough penalties against employers who hire illegal workers.

The United States has an illegal employer problem. A large minority of unscrupulous employers knowingly hire illegal labor to keep their costs down. Their illegal actions encourage illegal immigration and make it difficult for legal workers to find jobs.

The bi-partisan U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform concluded that removing the jobs magnet was the linchpin to solving illegal immigration and protecting vulnerable American workers, yet today approximately 7 million illegal workers fill American jobs while 8 million Americans can't find work. Employers who knowingly hire illegal workers must be held as accountable as the illegal workers themselves. A fair immigration policy should not give a free pass to employers who knowingly break the law. Please support legislation to crack down on illegal employers.

ON U.S. HOUSE SPEAKER PELOSI TO STOP WORKSITE ENFORCEMENT RAIDS BY I.C.E.
U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, has touched off a new round of fighting over whether the Homeland Security Department should continue to stage raids of worksites around the country. That may foreshadow a dispute that could move front and center when the new Congress convenes in January. Pelosi indicated at a news conference Wednesday that she supports an end to worksite enforcement operations nationwide by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which is part of the Homeland Security Department. She said the urgency of putting together comprehensive immigration reform legislation has been intensified by the raids. "How do we end the ICE raids, and have a situation where we can put together comprehensive immigration reform?" she asked.
As it turns out the only worksite raids that have taken place in the past year and a half are because they involved American identity theft. These are not just random worksites; they are sites where the Department of Justice knows American identity theft is taking place.

A Pelosi spokesman said the speaker has long expressed concerns that the Raids are ineffective and "unnecessarily divide families at the expense of children."

Well if that is the underlying reason; Congress should not send soldiers off to war in Iraq, Afghanistan, or any area outside the United States because it "unnecessarily divides families at the expense of children." Congress should place a moratorium on enforcement and punishment on any criminal who has a family because it "unnecessarily divides families at the expense of children." Let’s not just give this benefit to illegal alien thieves.

Ten Million Americans are out of work in America. Nancy Pelosi should be calling for increased worksite enforcement in America. We need to make sure the few jobs left, are being done by American citizens and legal immigrants.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should be protecting the taxpayer’s jobs so we can continue to bail out Wall Street, Main Street, Auto Row and everyone else they put on the commercial welfare rolls.

Nancy Pelosi should be doing everything to protect Americans from identity theft, and holding criminals accountable regardless of whether it "unnecessarily divides families at the expense of children."

This nonsense has gone on long enough! This Congress continues to decide policy that “unnecessarily divides Americans from their jobs and their hard earned dollars”. No more immunity for illegal aliens stealing jobs and identity.

Call Nancy Pelosi today in her office in San Francisco (415) 556-4862 [remember that due to their time zone they are a few hours behind us] and tell her what you think about her proposal of stopping worksite enforcement raids! Tell her in a polite but forceful way what you think of her upcoming proposal of amnesty for illegal immigrants, since she said her political party was for helping the American worker. Ten million Americans are unemployed and another four million are working part-time but want and cannot find a full-time job. Tell her you know of a way to create six million American jobs quickly - enforce immigration laws and give jobs back to legal residents by requiring employers to use the federal government's E-Verify system to determine legal worker status. Make you voice heard!
It’s time Americans looked out for other Americans.
Send this to everyone on your email list.

Mr. President! Free Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean!

online_activist2.gif

An injustice has been done!
In October of 2006, Border Patrol Agents Jose Alonso Compean and Ignacio Ramos were sentenced to 12 and 11 years in prison, respectively, by U.S. District Court Judge Kathleen Cardone in El Paso, Texas.
The illegal alien they were attempting to apprehend for drug smuggling went free.
President George W. Bush will soon leave office, and a presidential pardon is the only hope these men have of returning to their families.
Please join fellow GOPUSA activists in petitioning President Bush for a full pardon for Agents Jose Compean and Ignacio Ramos.

Illegal Immigration (1 Viewing)
Illegal Aliens tied up YOUR streets and waved THEIR flag in attempt to steal your citizenship. America's drug trade is controlled by illegal aliens. 1 out of every 3 people in U.S. prisons is an illegal alien. Hospitals are closing down across the country from costs associated with treating Illegal Aliens. In today's politically correct world, if you voice your opposition to this, chances are you'll be labeled a "bigot". http://fightpc.net

Get Educated then act on it

What's the Problem?

The 1990s saw the biggest population boom in U.S. history. This is truly astounding news coming three decades after widespread determination that the country was mature and probably already overpopulated. No wonder Americans became increasingly alarmed at their deteriorating quality of life due to sprawl, congestion, overcrowded schools, lost open spaces and increasing restrictions on their individual liberty in order to handle the new population explosion!
Who's Responsible?

This population boom was almost entirely engineered by federal forced-growth policies that are still in place. The Census Bureau states that Americans will suffer this kind of rapid congestion every decade into the future unless Congress changes these policies.
What Can I Do?

Contact your senators and representatives and urge them to vote for bills which would help stabilize the United States’s population numbers, and to vote against bills that would worsen the problem. Use NumbersUSA.com to send e-faxes to your congressmen for free, to stay informed on all the latest immigration bills in congress, and to find the latest news on the effort to reduce immigration numbers to a traditional level.
