EVENT NOTICE
picture-18-1399907083.jpg
[h=3]Rally in front of White House: June 26[/h]NOTE: This is not a NumbersUSA event but it may be of interest to you.
Sara Blackwell of Protect US Workers is holding a rally on June 26th, 11:00 am, in front of the White House.
According to her flyer and tweet, she wants to send this message to President Trump:
You got our vote, now we want a voice.

President Trump recently met with several IT CEOs and is meeting with India's Prime Minister Modi regarding H-1B visas.

For questions and details about the event, contact Sara:

If you cannot make the event, you can let others know about it and/or discuss on social media.
About that meeting between President Trump and IT CEOs, the New York Times reports that the meeting covered a wide range of issues, but:
Brad Smith, Microsoft's president, said on Twitter that the company made the case "for why healthy high-skilled immigration and investments in education are good for the country."

Two people who were briefed on the tech meeting later said Mr. Trump also voiced support for "comprehensive" immigration reform, a term that was used during the Obama administration to generally describe a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants in the United States.

The president made the promise, the two people said, after being told by Mr. Cook that tech employees may worry they are being targeted amid confusion over the administration's immigration policy. It was unclear exactly what the president meant, or if he was using the term to mean something else.

Trump issued an executive order in April that states, in part:
"In order to promote the proper functioning of the H-1B visa program, the Secretary of State, the Attorney General, the Secretary of Labor, and the Secretary of Homeland Security shall, as soon as practicable, suggest reforms to help ensure that H-1B visas are awarded to the most-skilled or highest-paid petition beneficiaries."

The latest leftist propaganda wafting through the mainstream media like a cloud of mustard gas are claims that Donald Trump is a racist.

Dear Jim:
Thank you for taking the time to express your views regarding immigration policy.
My first duty as President is to keep the American people safe, and that obligation guides my approach to immigration and border security.
Immigration to the United States is a privilege, not a right, and the Federal Government has the responsibility to enforce all laws passed by Congress, to rigorously vet and screen all foreign nationals seeking entry into the United States, and to keep drugs, criminals, and terrorists from entering our country and threatening our citizens.
Additionally, we must have responsible controls on the future entry of foreign workers to protect jobs and wages for existing United States workers of all backgrounds. I have issued an executive order to help accomplish this goal, as I promised during the campaign.
Further, we have achieved a record reduction in illegal immigration on the southern border, an effort that requires constant vigilance against a wide array of threats and challenges. We are also taking action to confront unlawful sanctuary city jurisdictions that dangerously shield criminal aliens. Crucially, we have also begun planning and preparations for the border wall— which we need to stop the trafficking of drugs, guns, weapons, and people.
If we continue to enforce our laws and protect our communities, families, and struggling workers, we will reduce our deficit, increase incomes, and make our communities safer for each and every American—present and future.
Sincerely,

[h=3]THIS ISSUE: House passes bill that would punish sanctuary cities for not cooperating with federal immigration efforts[/h]THU, JUN 29[SUP]TH[/SUP]
The House of Representatives approved H.R. 3003, the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act, marking the first immigration enforcement bill passed by Congress since Pres. Trump took office in January.
The No Sanctuary for Criminals Act clarifies the definition of a sanctuary jurisdiction, imposes penalties on jurisdictions that fail to cooperate with federal enforcement efforts, and provides immunity for local police who assist with the enforcement of federal immigration laws by honoring ICE detainers.
The bill passed mostly along party lines with three Democrats joining the Republicans in favor of the bill, including Reps. Matt Cartwright of Pennsylvania, Henry Cuellar of Texas, and Collin Peterson of Minnesota.
While we're disappointed that the House has not yet voted to pass the Davis-Oliver Act, which was approved by the House Judiciary Committee several weeks ago, we're hopeful that today's vote will create some momentum so the vote can be held before August.
Our Capitol Hill team sent out a scoring notice to Members of Congress earlier this week, asking lawmakers to vote in favor of H.R. 3003, but also urging House Members to move forward with the Davis-Oliver Act. Pres. Trump continued to push for passage of the Davis-Oliver Act in remarks that he delivered yesterday while meeting with the families of victims killed by illegal aliens yesterday.
[T]he Davis-Oliver Act, whose passage I called for nearly a year ago at my inauguration speech and immigration speech -- both -- the immigration speech taking place in Phoenix, Arizona. The Davis-Oliver Act was named for Detective Michael Davis and Deputy Sheriff Danny Oliver, who were gunned down in the line of duty by an illegal immigrant with a criminal record and two prior deportations. And everybody knew this person was big, big trouble, and they begged law enforcement to get him out. And they were unable to do that.

-- Pres Trump, June 28, 2017

The House also passed H.R. 3004, Kate's Law, today. The original Kate's Law, as introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), included mandatory minimum sentences for foreign nationals who repeatedly cross the border illegally. But the version passed today removed the mandatory minimums, leaving the penalties up to a judge.

CITIZENSHIP REVOKED: The article noted that more immigrants may be at risk of similar scrutiny -- and may have their citizenship revoked -- as part of an ongoing government review of previously-granted citizenship documents. Hopefully they will also scrutinize all the fake refugees who got green cards during the O administration -- there's no shortage of liars there. Unfortunately NC citizens, I must AGAIN bring you bad news. This time, for the month of June and for the State of North Carolina.

First, for the month of June; 11 more illegal aliens racked up 39 separate charges of child rape/child sexual assault against our kids. You can see the list of charges and their mugshots here.

Second, for the future of our State:

Any immigration enforcement hopes you may have had for NC are GONE. Our spineless House and Senate leaders REFUSED to bring up ANY of the enforcement bills before the NCGA long session ended.

The leadership of both NCGA chambers are taking the "Paul Ryan" approach, by NOT supporting our President, as it pertains to immigration enforcement.

You can personally express your frustration towards House Speaker Tim Moore and Senate Leader Phil Berger, for the continued lack of accountability and/or compassion, where child rape in NC is concerned, at the contact info below:
