This is is exactly what I'm talking about...you literally have zero conception, knowledge or awareness of history. You never studied it, but someone told you about a "southern strategy" one day and that's good enough for you! You don't want to possibly open your mind, learn anything, and maybe even admit you were wrong. You'd rather just believe what you want to be true because that's simply easier and far more convenient.
Tell you what...if this southern strategy was such a huge success, why don't you tell us how Republican candidates performed in elections from the mid-60s for the next 15 years or so in the formerly confederate states? At all levels, too...house of reps, senatorial seats and the presidency. Surely the R's made immediate, huge gains from their southern strategy...right?
