Maybe so but not to the extent that anti-American crowd likes to think.

But I don't hear you or anyone coming out to condemn Saddam's use of chemical weapons. The only repsonse seems to be "Well your CIA gave them the technology anyhow so they aren't responsible."
Well then using YOUR logic, the US would be morally justified in dropping a 100 megaton nuclear warhead into downtown Baghdad or wherever we please for that matter. After all, our nuclear program was helped tremendously by German engineers. The Germans would somehow have to be held responsible. Right?

Saddam just couldn't help himself. That's it he's the victim here.

the thing is, and i dont know how much the american public knows about that, the american administration gave those weapons, and many others, to saddam, in order to use them against the iranians.

they didnt do that for scientific purposes.

saddam is responsable for using them, but he wouldn't be able to use them if he didnt get them from USA, and if he wasnt ENCOURAGED to use them.

in the case of USA using the A-bomb, no other country encouraged them to use it.

the germans were developping it, the americans finished it, and used it first, without anyone telling them to do so.

that is a huge difference.
