I agree wholeheartedly , Earvin Magic Johnson wouldn't be great in todays game ??? Thats like saying a armadillo can out run a coyote. Does my example sound ridiculous ? It should because ,Magic not being a super star in todays game is preposterous ... Not only would Magic be a dominant player,an All star , probably lead the league in assists , first team ... and yes he probably would still be the primary ball handler for his team ... point guard - if thats what you want to call it... he would definetly be running the floor ... People take Magic for granted , but he truly is one of best , the game has ever seen ... Heres a guy .. as a rookie , In game 6 of the NBA finals. Asked by his coach to step up and fill in as center for (only the NBAs all time leading scorer ) Abdul-Jabbar ... , a 20 year old rookie he was. And in the games greatest stage he gave a emmy performance. 42-15-7 .. which still to this day is regarded by the majority of critics as the greatest single game performance in NBA history. Better than Jordans heroics , more impressive than Willis Reed and Clyde Frazier , above the Big O , Russell, Wilt ,West , Zeke , Kobe , and yes ...Lebrons big game 5 included. Magic won the Championship as a rookie .. And he was the catlyst behind it. Magic introduced showtime to the league , and just like Jordan he won in college too. He beat Larry Bird and the lowly sycamores , but Magic outplayed Larry that game , similar to how he outlasted and overcame the Celtics in 2 out of 3 NBA finals. Larry the legend was quoted as saying after the Lakers beat the Celtics in one of the finals ... What can I say , Magic is the best I ever saw ... and while Lebron reminds us of Jordan , I personally think hes more of a mirror image of Magic than MIchael , He has Magics vision , and the ability to score more effectively. Jordan is , was and will hold the title for awhile as the best at putting the ball in the hole ... Lebron is the better passer though , and a better rebounder ....
