- All evidence continues to point to the Senators being an awfully bad team. They are losing the Corsi 5v5 battle by over 5 per night and are only scoring 36% of the goals in their games at 5v5 close. The Habs still have some room to improve their goal percentage at 5v5.
Philadelphia +152
- The Leafs are starting to look more and more like last year's team from a numbers perspective. Over the past month, they have scored 70% of the goals at 5v5 close in their games, while losing Corsi by over 5 per game. There is just nothing sustainable about that. The Flyers are not much fun but there is value going against the Leafs as this kind of favorite.
Carolina +133
- Took the Canes over the Leafs last time out and will take another shot on them as a home dog. They are actually a perfectly decent possession team, while the Rangers are far outperforming their possession numbers right now.
Florida +193
- Always give the Panthers a look as this kind of dog.
