got the split last night...

- Bruins completely dominated G1 for long stretches...Price made some big saves...Bruins had some brutal bounces around the net..and Rask was off his game...and it still took the Habs 2OT to get a win. I was hoping we might get the Bruins as a dog for the series now but not to be...Thinking we could see around 4-0 here today.

- The Kings have reached 5+ in 7 of 8 games, while the Ducks have reached 5+ in 8 of 9 games. The lines do not seem to be catching up, as the perception is that the Kinds just play 2-1 games in the playoffs.

- Really want to see Boudreau keep winning, so hate going against him here...but the Kings are starting to look a little scary right now. They have all the playoff pedigree in the world and are playing against a team with no pedigree and a coach who struggles to adjust this time of year. While there have been times that Quick looked beatable this season and even early in the playoffs, the Kings are starting to get close to the dominant defensive performances for which they are known in the playoffs. Even with all the overs, Quick is now over 96% save pct in his last four. The Ducks have all the pressure in the world on them tonight; it will be interesting to see how they handle it.
do not like anything in the other one..

- Do not think we have come close to seeing Boston's best yet this series, which is a scary proposition for the Habs. Bruins were a bit stale at home, which may not be a surprise considering they have not played a road game for almost two weeks. Getting out on the road should be a great thing for them. Price does play well at home, but his playoff save pct. is dropping with each game and is now down to 91%, and that is with Montreal playing about as well as they can in the last game. At this point, the Bruins are very similar to the Kings. A great team that has a huge playoff pedigree, and that makes them so difficult to beat when you have all the pressure of a home game. Habs are also relying on a nearly 12% shooting percentage in the playoffs - it is very difficult to expect that to continue against the Bruins.

- Just do not see how you can trust Bryz here. Hawks are playing awfully well. They are up against a goalie that struggles to get his save pct. to .900...If the Wild are going to steal one, they are going to need some offense, as I think the Hawks will be tough to keep off the board.
