- For the Habs to pull this upset off, they are going to have to continue scoring at a rate north of 10.5% of their shots. While that was entirely doable against Anders Lindback and the Lights' defense, pulling that off frequently enough to win 4 times in 7 against Rask is going to be a tall order. Rask's save percentage in the opening series was over 96%; he is over 93% for the season, and over 94% at home. It is just so difficult to score on more than 10% of your shots against the Bruins. It is far more likely that you would score on 6-7%, especially in the games in Boston. That means the Habs are going to have a very hard time getting that 3rd goal in games. Price and the Hab defense is at its weakest on the road, and a save percentage just over 90 in the first round does not instill great confidence. In addition, the Habs step way up in class here. The Bolts were a crumbling mess by the time they arrived in the first round.

They have all the playoff pedigree in the world and are playing against a team with no pedigree and a coach who struggles to adjust this time of year. While there have been times that Quick looked beatable this season and even early in the playoffs, the Kings are starting to get close to the dominant defensive performances for which they are known in the playoffs. Even with all the overs, Quick is now over 96% save pct in his last four. The Ducks have all the pressure in the world on them tonight; it will be interesting to see how they handle it.

- Do not think we have come close to seeing Boston's best yet this series, which is a scary proposition for the Habs. Bruins were a bit stale at home, which may not be a surprise considering they have not played a road game for almost two weeks. Getting out on the road should be a great thing for them. Price does play well at home, but his playoff save pct. is dropping with each game and is now down to 91%, and that is with Montreal playing about as well as they can in the last game. At this point, the Bruins are very similar to the Kings. A great team that has a huge playoff pedigree, and that makes them so difficult to beat when you have all the pressure of a home game. Habs are also relying on a nearly 12% shooting percentage in the playoffs - it is very difficult to expect that to continue against the Bruins.
