Apparentely you know more about this bet than TTP or myself.

Natrually ChopTalk could not send the $500 to TT if he owed it directly to Jourenyman unless he was told by Jurneyman with very explicit instructions to send it to TT and the debt would be paid if he did that. If there are any other parties involved then that would change the dynamic. I am just going by the simple statement TTP made:

If you read this statement it sounds like a straight bet was made between between Journeyman and Choptalk and Choptalk paid it. Again I would only condone Choptalk send it to TT or anywhere else if he was told by JM to do so. A common practice when people who know each other bet in the same circles.

I would not advocate Choptalk to send he money anywhere else without permission of the owner of the money, stiff or not. That is a no no.

I am certainly not advocating Choptalk take it incumbent on himself to send it to TT without permission just because he thinks JM owes him money.

It seems that Bad Co is still owed money for Cigar. Was the money TT gave J money to cover that or does JourneyStiff owe two different people?

From what I gather BadCo is not owed anymore money but Cigar was stone cold stiffed for a little less than $3,000 by Journeyman and has written it off as the cost of doing business with a stiff.

TT's debt had nothing to do with BadCo's or Cigar's debts or arrangements etc. Totally separate debts.

BadCo may have more to say on that subject, not sure.

Not sure if my post came out wrong before but just meant Chop lost $500 to Journey.

The first thing Journey should of done is said send it to TT on my behalf. No other option should have occured.

Chop did nothing wrong and 100% agree it has to go to Journey but it just is pathetic he didnt forward it on.

I also would like to commend TT for other than a few random comments to ask where it is has conducted himself with class.

Everyone has to look themselves in the mirror and I have a feeling J-stiff finds it very hard to do.

Regarding the stiff - that has occured since he quit the Rx.com. Sure he incurred the debt while he worked here but arrangements were made for him to make payments to both TT and Cigarman but he quit instead. Nothing I could do abuot that.

The cheating on his record is something I dug up after he slandered just about everyone here at The Rx.com because he had a meltdown and quit. I always recalled the conversation with General about the record tampering in early to mid 2005 and decided to investigate after all of the slanderous posts JM made about this site and it's management and employees.

I do regret, as I have mentioned several times, not taking the warning I received back in late June of 2005 more seriously at the time.

For the record.

When Journeyman got bashed unmercifully at EOG for cancelling out on last year's bash I went to bat for him. I did something I swore I would never do and that was register at EOG to proove the poster who was bashing him, a poster who called himself Sehawks789 registered here at the Rx.com using the email address of deceased friend and ex Rx. and EOG moderator Glaken.

I wanted to proove this Seahawks789 had an agenda and was a ghost who registered at both places to just bash JM for cancelling his Bash trip. He used an email address of a deceased mod from both sites to register here and that was very wrong. EOG finally after a long wait finally did ban him. He was banned here on sight when we saw the email address he registered with.

to work out a payment plan was a stand-up thing to do, had he taken that option he'd probably still be here today. amazing that rather than pay an admitted debt one would choose to walk away from a long term employment relationship, i guess you should have been frienldlier to him and maybe then he would have paid.
