Does anyone have any experience on getting a foreign wire from an offshore sportsbook?

First and only one I ever got was about 8 years ago from matchbook and regions bank instantly closed my bank account and band me from banking with them. It really screwed me up bc I was bouncing mortgage checks and checks for bills left and right bc of this.

ask for a check, deposit it into your checking account, it should not be a problem, especially since it may come from something like a Miami Law Firm (mine did)

a bank is required to report "cash transactions" > 10k and suspicious wire transfers (suspicious not being defined)

as for taxes, the IRS requires you report income earned from all sources, and you can deduct gambling losses to the extent of gambling winnings, but I don't think depositing a check should be reported to the IRS by the bank

Why stick it in the bank at all? Why not do whatever way you can to get it in a cash form.
