Let me give you a clue. When you hear gun fire and you don't have a weapon, you run like a mother fucker and just hope the guy next to you is slower. There's not time to get on a microphone or make some announcement on the intercom.

Actually you have have no clue. Until you've been in or around a shooting, anything you say about how you would do whatever is speculation. I will tell you from experience, you react certainly, in my experience the people around me mattered and were my concern instead of fleeing. I however was not out in the open but indoors.
