Accuscore NBA Picks Thread

I have been keeping track of accuscore's predictions for the last 3 games for NBA and here are the results based off accuscores winning %'s

Point Spread = 3-14 = 17.6%
O/U = 10-8 = 55.5%
Moneyline = 13-5 = 72.2%

Win % from 50-59% = 17-17 = 50%
Win % from 60%+ = 9-10 = 47.4%

What is wrong with this picture, or did i start following on a very bad 3 day streak cuz if you woulda bet each line based off accuscore since monday you would be at a win % of 17.6%

i have every game detailed in a spreadsheet from the last 3 days i can send via email if you want to see... but i followed it for a couple days and got smoked.... hope this isnt a sign of things to come...

Bad stretch here. 0-4 run.

YTD Record:

32-20-2 61.5%

Still hitting over 60%. I know its little consolation for those that have jumped on recently, but the percentage is solid and should stay true. However, maybe, like the NFL, the last couple of weeks are skewed a bit due to lack of effort, motivation, etc. I'll track until the end of the year, but if things don't turn around by Sunday, I'm done playing NBA until post season.

I'm not sure what your point is here. I have clearly outlined my system utilizing Accuscore and have posted each play and updated my record daily. So far, hitting over 60% winners. To base any system or picks on three days worth of results is ridiculous. Either way, BOL!!

Broncos, short term bad luck.. that's all. Even if this system doesn't work, we shouldn't expect less than 50% win rate. At worst, long-term with this system we will lose some juice. However, I like the premise of playing lines with a >60 chance. The question, of course, is how good is the Accuscore statistical analysis? i would venture to say it is promising given the success we've had over the past three weeks or so. I'll be tailing as long as you keep posting.

Definately gives some promise for next season. I'm very interested to see how this performs over an entire season. Holding at over 60% winners after five weeks is still a small sample, but still a decent size. As I said, I will post plays until season is over, what everyone does with them is their own decision. If this continues to fall, I will be done playing, but will still post.

I wonder if we contact accuscore if there is a way that they can backtest this for us. If so, and there is a fee, I'd be willing to put in on it. I don't mean just over the past season, but going back to the inception of Accuscore nad beyond if they have access to all the information they need to make run their calculations.

Cappers that go 60% for a season can have more than a 5 streak losing run quite easily. Bad for people like me that jumped on just as the losing streak started.

Ya, i guess it was a bad time for me to start tracking it.... i havent played any bets off of it except the phily under today... that worked out well... haha im not saying it isnt performing well for the season, but the 4 days no that ive tracked it, its been a mess..... and the 60%+ ones are the worst...

Yeah, I have mixed emotions about that. On one hand, he hasn't really won anything in Denver, so how much are they really losing? I mean, they haven't even made the playoffs with him. On the other hand, he is very talented and if he were to win a SB or close to it with Chicago, may be the worst move Denver has ever made.

Kind of like Baltimore trading Elway to Denver way back in the day.

some teams are playing for pride, others for the playoffs, some for lottery spots, and I don't know how many statistical-only capping systems can account for these intangibles

might be best to pick it back up in the playoffs

I completely agree. I am going to post until the end for tracking purposes. I have not hidden anything and the bad run speaks for itself. It's up to everyone following whether or not to play or not. As I've said, I am giving it until Sunday. If this run continues, I will stop playing until playoffs, but I will still post.
