Alright if you want to go with ATS record thats fine.

I just feel people play +3 or under dogs with the points instead of going with the ML which eliminates the juice and gets better payout.

I'm on UNC ML +110.

** Wisconsin Badgers +6

I like to back a team that is on a roll @ the end of the season.

Don't know what you are seeing here my friend. Cal Poly is not a bad squad, but giving up 276 on the ground and 371 in the air is not finishing the season strong. Out gained on the ground by 90+ to Cal Poly will not cut it in Orlando against an FSU team, while inferior to some, will get up to play this one so close to home. GL

This is very true they did struggle mightily in that game, but feel that they really overlooked this game as they were already bowl eligible and expected Cal Poly to roll over. Cal Poly has a bit of a gimmicky offense and to me the Badgers got stunned a little. Winning a suprisingly close game like that can be a good thing as it helps a team re focus. I can see why you would concerned about that but I don't see that game as a factor in this one.. BOL to you if you take the Noles though :toast:

Jimmy....I like the Wisky play. FSU is a very overrated team this year. I've played them in certain situations and won money on them. But this team has no business giving 6 points to anybody. Especially to a very experienced Wisky team in a bowl. With no defense being played by either team, it's looking like this WV/UNC game is going to be a close one.

yeah GS I think FSU has too many holes to be laying more than 3 against a solid team like Wisconsin. I really see them being able to run the ball at will against the Noles. This game looks like its settling down, but I'm just glad u n me stayed away from that under!

Every once in a while it does bite u in the ass but today was one of those days. I will take the W though...

Screwed me over in the Boise St. game too. Still in the long run it pays off better.

Hit ML like GT vs. Georgia ML +315 you feel better.

pushed that total on the State game and lost the Nevada game today. Neither came out exactly as I thought they would but the over should have been good. Alot of games in the next few days for the conference coming up and I see myself being very busy so for now I will just post my plays. Write-ups and thoughts if time allows. BOL the rest of the way guys

*** Clemson Tigers -2.5

**Vanderbilt Commedores +3.5

**Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets -4

** Virginia Tech Hokies +2.5

Sean, I knew that that game was going to draw alot of questions. BC has been on a great bowl run but I feel the further that they get away from O'brien the worse this program will program. I just think that the Vanderbilt defense should be able to contain a very limited BC offense. BC is getting alot of love because they made it to the ACC final but they are an extremely flawed team; they are still breaking in a very raw QB (something this program hasnt had to do in ~4 years; Crane had plenty of time to absorb the offense) who really to me has yet to impress.

The hometown advantage in this bowl is bigger than it would be in most other bowls as BC really doesn't have any reputation of traveling well to bowl games. There is something to be said for being in a familiar place to play this kind of game for these kids as they can go through their familiar routine and prepare for this game as if it was a home game.

To me it comes down to the Eagle offense having a hard time finding any kind of consistent success in this game. To me this is a pick'em kind of game so I am happy to take more than a field goal and hope for the best.

Sorry if that didnt really give you a good answer. My way of breaking down these games is by following this conference and at this point in the season either playing or fading them. I just don't think that highly of this BC team. Their defense is solid but I like the coaching matchup for the 'Dores and the HTA. Under is definately still on my radar as well.

Vandy's defense is terrible. I don't think hometown has any adv for Vandy at all. They haven't been to a bowl game is 50 years.

The biggest adv Vandy has is Davis is starting for BC.

I think Vandy will struggle to score against BCs defense and BCs run game is good enough to control the clock and win. I don't think it will be a blow out, but 24-10 or 20-10 - something like that. I agree on the under, but am too scared to play it. You just don't know what you are going to get from the Dores.

adding * BC/Vandy under 41

expecting an ugly game where 20 should be enough to win. Its a low number so I will play it small

Fine reasoning, thanks!

I took BC, though, for the reasons Major mentioned. They trump Vandy in both running the ball and defense...I think they'll control this game inside and out.

But BOL to ya and Happy New Year!

I couldn't agree with you more......BC is the play. Vandy is very mediocre...I'm not saying BC wins by 30, but I can see a 27-13 type of ball game.
