How many Hall of Famers did Young play with on the offensive side of the ball in his career????

He SUCKED in Tampa Bay and couldn't even hold a job.

Now name the current and future hall of famers that Brett played with in his tenure at GB...........go.

Eli Manning looked like shit his rookie year too. Who cares? Means nothing. He became one of the greatest quarterbacks ever.
Next you will say Montana wasn't very good because he played with too many HOF.

By the way, for the record, the PACKERS have won THREE SUPERBOWLS.........and more league championships than any team in the leauge.

What's your point????

There are many QB's some believe are the best of all-time or in the top five of all-time that have never won even one championship.

The stiff legged guy in Miami comes immediately to mind.

Intangibles deluxe

All this, and he is still underrated.

Yes, Favre is the best the game has ever seen..........or at the very worst, no one has played the position better.
HMMM. Intangibles meaning leading interceptions in the history of the NFL ? How about being a spoiled brat who has been holding his Packers hostage for the last 3 years while He waits until after the draft before He lets the Packers know whether or not He will return ? Great player but there's a lot of things that most people don't know about him ! Packers had no choice but to move on because of the games Favre was playing.

Many may rate Marino in the top 5 but not me !
Montana, Elway, Unitas, Starr, Bradshaw, Young and yes Favre all rate higher IMHO I could probably name Brady and some of the legends on my list also. Perhaps both Mannings will be in front of him also ! BTW
They they all have won Titles also !

Fish,

You know I am a GB fan. Favre would have had a tough time of it this year as the O-line had been underperforming all year except for yesterday.

The only knock I have on Rodgers would be time management and how he would perform in the 2 minute drill. Favre was a master at it but I know those things just come from experience.

Rodgers future could be extremely enhanced with Jennings, Jones, Driver and Lee. Plus Jordy Nelson could shine a year or two down the road.

They're still scrapin him off my stucco.

I doubt that he's kidding. Dickey was so good they made the the Green Bay Packers children's sized uniforms of the early 80's with his number on it. I owned one.:103631605

I had a #12 myself that I received back in Christmas of '85.

I agree with Fish.

Favre= Best QB of All-Time. Holds every major NFL Record. And while many say "he's been in the league longer", that just further shows that he is a better QB. Dependable, accurate, stong arm, and the MOST WINNING QB EVER. His only downfall is INT's, but he more than compensates for those.

Also, other than Antonio Freeman and Donald Driver, name a Top Notch receiver he has had to throw too??

1. Sterling Sharpe
2. Robert Brooks
3. Keith Jackson
4. Mark Chumura
5. Javon Walker
6. Dorsey Levens
7. Andre Rison- Super Bowl Championship season 96-97

I would say that is a respectable class of WR's and TE's ya think:think2:
