I kind of feel the same way. I was watching Mike and Mike early when it was first announced, and I didn't flinch......it was just oh, makes sense. But as I contemplate the reality of all that has transpired, I just feel a lot of sorrow for everyone involved, including Hernandez. I just feel sad we live in a world where this happens. 27 years ago, he was a newborn baby sitting on a winning lottery ticket of talent and promise, and had a great life ahead of him. He had Tim Tebow as a roommate and Urban Meyer as a coach. Good people that should have been able to influence him. And now the story is over, and none of it can be rewinded or changed. How does anyone live with that kind of regret? Of course he was gonna kill himself. Just sad.I haven't been this conflicted over someone's death in a long time. The Christian in me grieves (maybe too strong a word) for someone so troubled who would end his life before possibly trying to somehow make something out of your worthless life and I grieve for his daughter that he brought into the world without a father. My human instinct thinks good....I'm glad we won't hear from you anymore....thanks for saving the people of Massachusetts a ton of money housing you for the next 50-60 years you might have been around....you're not only a cold-blooded murderer but a chicken shit...good riddance. A true tragic story or what was and what could have been.
If he wasn't a talented athlete, would you feel empathy? Why does athletic ability change the perception? How many thousand and thousands of men are in jail, because they weren't given seven or eight chances to "turn their life around" simply because they aren't great runners or can t jump?

No way I'd spend the next 50-60 years in prison.
I'd find a way out too...
I really hope OJ is paying attention
