I looked at hockey totals and not one 5-0 streak or close and these are too tight.
Baseball is a seperate entity with differant parks and pitchers within streaks, day/night west coast unders - etc.
Id leave it alone, if anything follow winning or losing pitchers in a seperate thread.

Baseball is tough, but I will still use consecutive total runs.... b/c we'd be getting roughly -110 consistently.

You're right about that... opposing trending teams. Going to make that a hard-and-fast rule. If two teams streaking, then they cancel each other out and no play..... unless one team is 8-0 ATS and the other is 0-7 ATS, that kind of thing.
