When Trump made all of those comments, I believe he was trying to minimize Corona while also trying to minimize panic in the American people. I would've said something different but this is him.

IMO, yes, I believe he definitely called it a Hoax. Had he not said those crazy things while trying to downplay it for 2 months then you might have a point but those aren't words or actions of someone who seriously believed as a Pandemic.

How long does it take from positive test until you get "cleared" and they close a case as "recovered"? How many days?
And you think this is a meaningful measure at this juncture?

Probably because they don't officially call you recovered until you've passed 2 consecutive tests.
Just takes time to go from a positive test to the case being closed as recovered.
Much faster if you die.

You post Coronavirus & flu death numbers side-by-side to "prove" that the flu is more deadly. Since far less people died from the Ebola than the flu, I guess you'd rather catch Ebola than the flu? Yeah, didn't think so.

Again, what you believe and what you would've said means nothing except to you and your therapist. The fact is he said them the same time he threw around the hoax word. Any sane person would come to the same conclusion.
