A submersible craft used to take people to see the wreckage of the Titanic has gone missing

If it submarine resulted from an implosion, shouldn’t the pieces be smaller?

That would happen with an explosion but this was an implosion where pressure came from outside the object. It didn’t explode like a bomb, it was crushed by the pressure, therefore the larger pieces.
