A play I really like for today

France - Mexico (+0.5 @1.67)

France is horrible, Mexico has the pace and will to play from the offense. They're playing better than Uruguay that was struggling the first match. The French team isnt clicking, they have great players but dont have the chemistry. Im playing the +0.5 because I think this could be a 1-1 type of game, with a late French goal.

England - Algeria Over 2.5 Goals @1.96

Algeria didnt impress me at all, weak at the back and they need to try to get at least a point. England got to win this one, and they're going to show how good they play. Think they get this one themselves. Im looking for a 3-0 type of win for the English side.

Group D

Germany (1.68) - Serbia

Best team on the tournament I've seen so far, Germany are playing very well. Serbia didnt play their best game against Ghana and lost with an unfortunate penalty late in the game. They'll need to open up to try and win this one. They'll give away too much space for the clicking offense and the fast midfielders. I'll take the Germans any day at that price.

Netherlands (-1 @1.7) - Japan

Japan playing more openly, thats a good match for the Dutch. They've played not so well against Denmark, thats because they were closed down and couldnt do anything. They are going to win with at least a 2-0 score, but I think they'll hammer the Japanese to show they're for real. Winning this is almost a guarantee for the top spot in Group E.

Group G

Ivory Coast (+1 @1.85) - Brazil

I dont care how they Brazilians will play against NK, but IC is a very tough team as we saw today. They getting a full point at this price is just ridiculous. IC will play it close, physical and fast, and I will be very surprised if they lose this one. Sure Brazil have individual quality, but look how they closed down all the ego's of Portugal? Nowhere to be seen! Maybe an IC upset.

not only do i agree on the dutch pick..i will take it a step further upon you mentioning the openess of the japs....this will totally play into the long passing/attack lanes the dutch use to score...will robben make an appearance?...jury is still out on that one as of yet...but i do agree with the dutch pick and will also be playing the total to go over at +$ at 2'..waiting to see if i can get a lil more on the over at +$....4-1 dutch....

looked at the over as well, but the motivating factor to play better and qualify as first made me decide to choose for the Dutch side. could possibly be a 2-0 game once again, so i feel its safer. gl my man

South Africa (+0.5 @1.62) - Uruguay

South Africa plays with soul. They're fast and have everything to play for, even though they lack the class of f.e. Suarez or Forlan of Uruguay. The South Americans played horrendous against France, nothing worked out, just terrible performance. They can do better, but against the fast and motivated Bafana Bafana the best they can do as a draw. Wont be surprised by a South African win.

I don't think they can do better. Uruguay is a very slow team aside from Forlan. Which is the reason top teams routinely have their way with them, and even though South Africa isn't a top team, they will cause Uruguay tons of problems with their speed. I see a draw in this game.

Very tough game. This is a game I wouldn't touch. Mexico's defense is slow. Anelka, Ribery or Henry could easily score on a counter attack, and win the game. Mexico has a better midfield, and will have possession for most of the game though.

i dont agree on uruguay, they can pass the ball better and just play better than they did. but against a tough south african side it wont be easy, and im sure the hosts will continue to press like they did.

france will continue to slump and mexico could win this one by the smallest margin. i dont see how domenech can turn this team around, it was my first thought of the tourney to fade france, im happily taking the +0.5 at those odds. france still way overvalued.
