Exactly, Coach. It's when you bet the game most of the time, not where. That's why overnights are key. I love Skybook, and the free half-point is great, especially in football. I have a bookie that takes lines out of the paper. I am going to try to middle college and pro basketball. I am going to middle if the line has a 3 point difference or more. Say the line in the paper is Oklahoma over Uconn by 3. The line then goes up to 6 for example. I would bet twice as much on Oklahoma favored by 3 than I would be on Uconn getting 6. There has been some epithet tossing in this thread but, IMO, it has been travelling in the wrong direction.
I gamble. As for middles, I look upon them as money lying on the sidewalk. If I see it, I pick it up and I have no problem with anyone who does.
If I was to start yelling epithets at any forum characters, it would be the ones who risk money without knowing what they're doing. They don't understand the mathematics. They pat each other on the back and encourage each other for thinking of angles that the linesmakers know perfectly well. They chase statistically insignificant trends. They play transparent psychological games with themselves and each other to justify their coin-flip plays.
A lot of them must have families.

Why middle?? There is a easier way to make money if you are not a *****. Its called selling dope. I gamble to make money and for entertainment. But if I need money GUARANTEED, I sell dope. Thats why I dont bet tennis and wnba. I cant stand to watch the crap.
