Gotta say the player is wrong here. He may believe he is right, but he is the one who made the mistake....either by forgetting to confirm, or line change. If he checked his review bets truly, the ticket # would be in his account.

Why do they have a procedure for when this happens?? They have a procedure because it is more common than you probably think. I confirmed it, and checked it in review bets, but I know most of you don't believe me, but you will when it happens to you.

it hasnt 'happened' to three people as you are arguing, what is more likely is that three people have previously made a mistake....

5dimes confirm page is a little different, you click submit, then later you have to hit confirm,

I can easily see how the second step is missed.... I have done it myself once or twice.....

I don't know how many thousands of wagers I have placed with 5 Dimes, I never had a problem with the disapearing ticket. There are many tickets that I wish would have disapeared though. I have stated my negatives with 5 Dimes in the past but I still believe they are the #1 book. Heck, I am the one that referrred Newport there many years ago. Tony knows his book inside and out and if he says there is no glitch, I believe him. I'm sorry that your bet lost but that's what you get when you bet against the Terps.

It happened just as I said, you can choose to believe it or not. I was posting it as a warning to others that use them. If I were ever to use them again, which I won't, I would recommend everyone write the ticket number down for every wager made with them. If you have the ticket number with 5dimes, you have a course of action without the ticket you are out of luck. With it happening to a friend as well as I, I think you should take that into consideration, I doubted him as well, that is why I kept using their site, but I believe him now. This was just an FYI to help others, if you use them write the ticket number down or you are at their mercy!!!!

You are flat out wrong. Whether you are lying or simply mistaken I am not sure, but no way in hell 5dimes would do what you are accusing them of. Pisses me off that you persist to say this nonsense.

Consensus opinion is with 5D.

Printing tix is a waste, IMO. If book is a scam ( like Pan-am) Printed tickets mean nothing, anyway ! It's so much expensive ink and paper wasted.

Book flies on reputation (5D has that). Paper is paper. Sorry if I missed something by skimming, missteaks can go both ways !

I confirmed and then reviewed bets, like I always do. This happened to someone else I knew before, and like you guys said, I just thought he didn't confirm the bet, but I now believe him with 5dimes. Without the ticket number they own you on these things, it is BS. The wager was 125 for about 275 to win, not big money, but it really pisses me off and my friend is laughing about it. Going back to Pinnacle and Olympic where you can trust the site.

Been there done that !... we all have ! If I had to print every bet because I don't trust the book, I wouldn't do this. Printing is good but expensive, any printer will stop after awhile when he sees the ink bill. Goddamn printer ink costs more per ounce than gold.. close to what latinum costs me wholesale !
