I am a lifetime user of Olympic, but decided to give 5dimes a whirl the last few weeks. Everything was going ok until last night, I placed a 2nd half wager on the Vtech game, a parlay over 24 and Vtech-7. Watched the game won the wager and then went to sleep, wokeup today to check the account and the wager isn't there. I call them and they ask for the ticket number, I have never ever written a ticket number down because I have never had an issue with any online wager sites. They tell me there is no record, however they will check to see if the ticket is lost and I am supposed to call them back in a few hours. They left me the impression that I was out of luck because I didn't have the ticket number. I am very frustrated and confidence with a site is the most important thing online, and I now have none with 5dimes. I just wanted to let you all know that it is Buyer Beware when using 5 dimes. I wouldn't recommend using them. They responded back that without the ticket number I am out of luck. I confirm all bets and then go to review to check them. I did that on this occasion. 5dimes stuck it to me, and I will take this as a learning experience, but to everyone else, write down the ticket numbers. I only assume that 99% of people don't write them down as I didn't, maybe 5dimes knows this and conveniently LOSES wagers and leaves the customer no course of action. I think 5Dimes is very unprofessional and isn't to be trusted at all in the future.

I recommend Olympic (even though their juice is extreme sometimes) and Pinnacle, but to everyone on this board, I WOULD NEVER USE 5DIMES AGAIN ..

I have forgotten to press the confirm bet once and it is a bummer....I went back and no wager was made...it happens and it stings for a bit

I highly doubt 5dimes would simply xnay a wager...first time I have every heard of something like this happening at 5dimes

I call bull.
I'd just say you didn't submit the wager correctly as you're a new user or something.
5dimes are the only book out there that manages to compete with Pinny in most markets.

They are a very very very very solid book.....

Are you sure you hit send the bet....I have done that before, did not hit send the bet and guess what no bet....Also it is a good idea to copy your bets after you place them this way you do have the ticket number.

I confirmed and then reviewed bets, like I always do. This happened to someone else I knew before, and like you guys said, I just thought he didn't confirm the bet, but I now believe him with 5dimes. Without the ticket number they own you on these things, it is BS. The wager was 125 for about 275 to win, not big money, but it really pisses me off and my friend is laughing about it. Going back to Pinnacle and Olympic where you can trust the site.

Same thing happen to me this week. It was the last of 3 horse wagers I made and I assume I simply failed to hit the confirm bet as well. I'd feel a lot better about it if it was a loser but it won of course.

I have been a LONG TIME 5 DIMES user.

Now if their was ever a bet that was confirmed, it would be in your REVIEW BETS section. If there is a bet in that section, I have never had a lost wager ever in 6 years there. Now I have had some tickets graded wrong, and that happens, and they are in the REVIEW BETS, but you have to click the completed tab. Locate the problemed bet, and then they will fix if the play was garded improperly

I think Jasin might be right, you forot to confirm the bet. I have never had a confirmed bet lost at 5 dimes. Never

And I am the first to tell them if I have a procedure problem.

Now I will tell you, that in the recent past, Their clerks NEVER, and I MEAN NEVER referenced ticket numbers

Now all of sudden, they ask for ticket numbers. I was the one telling them ticket numbers in the past years, and the clerk would say...Oh we cannot see those ticket numbers that are on your screen. Now they are all about the ticket numbers. Ok no problem

Bottom line is that if you did not make the wager on the phone which is taped, or did not hit the Confirm button......then you did not make the bet properly

I also say, I do not appreciate the way you have come on this forum and bashed them, when it is obvious that you did not learn their website properly, and did not obviously follow proper procedure. Yes their clerks can be english barrier challenged at times, but this is a fine firm, with hard working people, and class act supervisors

So your over ZEALOUS NATURE ABOUT DESCRIBING THEM AS CORRUPT IS WRONG......and bad judgement on your part

LEARN YOUR WEB SITE FIRST

And is OLY not the ones that had a major confusion on the auto race and payouts. 5 dimes has never had such an issue. They would have dq'd before it ever got that point

agree with Dante here, & I do not think the title of your thread is fair... (IMO)

It happened just as I said, you can choose to believe it or not. I was posting it as a warning to others that use them. If I were ever to use them again, which I won't, I would recommend everyone write the ticket number down for every wager made with them. If you have the ticket number with 5dimes, you have a course of action without the ticket you are out of luck. With it happening to a friend as well as I, I think you should take that into consideration, I doubted him as well, that is why I kept using their site, but I believe him now. This was just an FYI to help others, if you use them write the ticket number down or you are at their mercy!!!!

Then I know exactly what happened. YOU HAD A LINE CHANGE during the exact act of confirmation!!! So if you did not walk away, then you would have NOT seen the SAVED BETS page. You will ALWAYS see a SAVED BETS page after the bet has been posted

You had a line change in the midst of confirmation, and that is normal. I believe 5 dimes has implemented a automatic line changer service, that can be changig every 10 seconds

ALWAYS look for the SAVED BETS page, showing your confirmed bet

WHAT HAPPENED is TRUE....YOUR WAGER WAS CANCELLED due to a LINE CHANGE in the MIDST of the confirmation process. This is gambling!!!

First page is confirmation, then NEXT PAGE is SAVED BETS

IF a 5 dimes player ever goes right back to lines after confirming a bet

THAT BET DID NOT GET PLACED MUST SEE SAVED BETS PAGE.....

Your decision not to play them, I think you area sore loser, over not learning their internet page, and making sure yourself by looking at review bets or seiing if your money was deducted

Come on, all of us are little accountants right??

Then why did it show on the review bets page after I made it? I confirmed and then went to review bets and it was there.

ok so that happened to a friend of yours.....YET U STILL GO THERE AND PLAY....of course first time you actually forget to confirm that was going to be your excuse.....grow up they aint gonna give a shit about a $100-$1000 payout so there is no reason for them to scam you there and ruin their reputation.

I agree, the wager was so small, I thought they could find it in their research, but nothing, I thought my friend was wrong just like you guys think I made a mistake, but whatever, you guys are 100% behind them and that is fine, I just wanted to help others so this didn't happen to them. I am done defending my position, good luck picking winners guys.

IF YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU SAW THAT BET IN YOUR REVIEW BETS PAGE

THE CALL TONY AT 1800 442-0151, AND HVE HIM DO A FULL REVIEW OF ALL YOUR PAGES AND BETS!!!! HE WILL THEN FIND IT. THEY DO NOT WORK ON A PAPER SYSTEM...SO THE TICKET NUMBER IS NOTHING MORE THAN A REFERENCE NUMBER, NOT A REAL PIECE OF PAPER......SO IF IT WAS IN REVIEW BETS, THEN THERE IS A TICKET NUMBER FOR THAT WAGER, AND TONY WILL FIND IT!!!!

And since I am referring you to him, if you are even slightly not on the up and up, TONY will find that out, and remove you anyways!!! If it was in REVIEW BETS, then it is there and TONY will find it!!

SOme how you never mentioned review bets before I brought it up??? hmmmm

And hey...I AM the FIRST to go after 5D with any and all procedure problems....SO I am no your side if that bet was in Review Bets.

The only time I have ever seen a bet not graded in my account after the play was over, was sometimes on my larger parlays they will take them down off the system, and hand review the bet, for 5 minutes just to make sure that all the mutli teams were graded right....you know before they put in my 5k plus on a 100 dollar bet LOL Seriously, if it was in REVIEW BETS....then THEY WILL FIND IT!!!

Unless your payout was over $50,000 you forgot to confirm this bet - they did not cheat you under any circumstances - I am not calling you a scammer either - I am jsut saying it was a mistake - I try to check all my wagers and make sure they are in and right.
