Its a slow process .

Learn the warning signs .

Even Full Tilt poker had warning signs and I got my money out of that place right before it was too late.

Dont judge a book by its past.
Judge it on its present actions.

Just because they were A+ a year ago don't make them A+ today .


Its like a restaurant that was once great falling on hard times.

You go one time and you start to see it's not as clean as the time before .
Then the next time they have less staff and worse service.
Then the next time they take away the free bread etc....

Then the next time you see the closed sign on the door.

This is where 5 dimes is right now.

I don't like what I'm reading here. I hope they pay. I've never ever had an issue with them. I recall last summer getting slow rolled on getting paid but it was always processor low limits. Slow rolled being 3-4 days. That's not an issue. They can take a few days I just hope they pay. I asked them last summer to do a book to book transfer to bookmaker and they said $100 fee. Is that the going rate? Jeez. I'll just wait it out. There's no comma involved.

I have never had a problem with 5D then I read this thread and then they are putting me thru the process but in fairness they are now saying the last card was not on file so maybe I'm wrong about them.

This has not happened to me so I can only speak from my experience. My opinion, however, is that this is simply a business practice 5dimes has engaged in for the longest time. I only say this b/c I've read the 'stall tactic' mentioned over years and years... and it was played on Willie as well.

In the end everybody gets paid, but many bust out as they grow impatient. Again, no offense to 5dimes b/c I love the book. Just stating an observation. And no offense to other posters, but some may term this 'smart business'. Much like many reputable companies in the U.S. will put in fine print that once you make a purchase for a plan... you'll be locked into continual billing with that card until you cancel it later. I've personally known owners of companies that do this and it is an outright scam. They refund the money when pressed, but they count on the continual monthly income it generates knowing that many customers will just blow it off and in some cases not even be aware of it.

Again, I love 5dimes. Just an opinion. And in the end everybody gets paid. Just business is business.

Runmaker, I agree the temptation to play at 5 Dimes is strong, because their lines are attractive. But if they are fine financially, I don't agree that it's smart business to do what they are doing. Asking for ID from long verified customers is just not good business practice. It's what stiff books do. This is a highly competitive industry, and people can take their business anywhere. If you have a product people love and will continue to give you business until they die, you don't fuck with that. I agree with Chop, there are too many red flags for a customer to be able to trust them. Like The Greek website says, "Sweat the Game, not the Payout."

Ok an update. I received my money from bookmaker easy squeeze. I'm still emailing 5d must be 5-7 emails by now. They claim they can't open attachment. I've sent same email to 3 friends and they can open the emails with no problem. I've given up. They can keep the 400 and shove it up their ass. I've been with them for 5+ years. This reminds me of ESB sports long while back. ESB stiffed me for 700 ish. Beware of 5d. I'm gonna call them and just tell em to keep the money and close the account. I will report back

Just think about it.
You probably been a customer for over 10 years and have probably received over 20 payouts in those 10 years.

I have no idea exactly how long you been there or how many payouts you have received but you get the point.

The point is 5D knows exactly who you are.
It would be very simple for them to look over past transactions from years and years of business.

Just the fact that they require ID is absolutely ridiculous and a stall tactic .

They know who you are .

And then you have the "we can make out the ID excuse .

I don't care if they have 1 cent lines I'm not going to deal with anything like that.

They have cash flow issues .

I don't believe they are going to stiff people just out of spite or hate .
Its going to to be due to poor business practice over many years where it's finally starting to catch up to them.

They going to go as long as they can to try to keep the boat floating but eventually it's gonna sink.

5D does have a great name and a lot of valuable customers.

I would not be shocked if someone like Bookmaker buys them out and rescues every from complete failure .

But 5D under its current regime is not long for this world
