i covered as well...im tied up some juice but i have a 500k middle at wwts (8.25m and 7.8m)...where i would hit both bets for a nice hit...didnt like what i was hearing and it was in 2500 theatres...not 1500 which was discussed...the movie sites all had it doing like 10m which i think is high

low teens from variety....the movie guru said its "looking closer" to varietys #'s then the tracking from MTC/ReelSource....

im obviously glad i covered...

but ya never know...you take the variety estimate and the tracking estimate add them up and divide by 2 and it could fall in the 8/9M range...

not worried either way...

This is a good barometer for me thus far...i went to see the movie just now at South Beach/Miami Beach, FL....this is were I go weekly...i have friends that work their so i frankly dont pay and havent in over 2 years (just establishing how much i frequent the place)...this movie theatre is always in the top 3 in ticket sales in the city of miami...

The 10pm est screening was almost to capacity (about 600 seatings)...this is very good news...but better news is when we see what info we get today regarding friday...

Anything over 3 million on friday i think the over is looking pretty strong...

For those that didnt see the movie I think its an incredible thrill ride to say the least....from start to finish this movie will have you on the edge of your seat...action, drugs, sex in public (awesome scene in the middle of chinatown), vengeance, etc. its got it all...no this isnt a pretty little story with nice subplots so if your into that burn sorry i mean rent history of violence, sin city, or city of god (cult classic)....this is what it is...just make sure to watch out with high def widescreen tv and 5.1 surround sound...
