Matt,
The Bengals run defense is pathetic hence the reason for the 6th rated pass defense. Jamal will run all over them, and help to keep that pass rating intact. Conversely, Cory Dilon historically has terrible days against the Ravens. Rudi Johnson is a good backup. He will come in handy when Ray Lewis breaks Dillon in 1/2. For the Bengals to have a chance it will come via the air and Kitna. Stack 7,8,9 in the box against the run- it just doesn't matter. Baltimore's O line is the biggest in the NFL, and they love the smashmouth game. That's what everyone has done all year. THe gameplan I expect to see is for Kyle to throw for 175 yards and a TD this week as he begins to throw more to Heap, and stretches the D with long throws. I also expect 200 plus on the ground.
I like the Ravens in a 24-13 game. If you think the Ravens D haven't had this game circled since the schedule came out you're crazy. THey want nothing more to show MArvin they still got it.
Good luck with your bet. I suggest you lower it to a buck and spend the other 2 elsewhere. Your orange-colored glasses are jading you objectivity. THe Bengals are moving in the right direction, but as bad as they were last year there is only 1 place to go and that is up. They have not arrived yet.
I also think your hostility towards ChadC is misguided.
Regards,
Slade
