American Nathan Adrian, who swam the anchor leg in the gold medal-winning 400 freestyle relay Sunday, barely made the semifinals of the 100 free Tuesday afternoon, finishing 16th in a time of :48.58. Adrian, who won gold in the 100 free four years ago in London, made the cut by just three-hundredths of a second. Adrian did not speak in the mixed zone after his heat.

I like this Camille Adams....Hopefully she can medal.....It`s her only Olympic event.
