With the 99th pick, the Browns took LB Joe Schobert, another former walk-on at Wisconsin who eared his scholarship as a redshirt freshman. Solid player who forced seven fumbles in his career, tied for the most in Wisconsin history.
Of the first 100 picks of this year's NFL draft, 44 players were ESPN 300 or 4-star rated recruits coming out of high school. A total of 34 were 3-star prospects and 22 were either 2-star recruits or unrated by ESPN.
The Browns made another trade, their fourth of the draft. They sent the 100th pick to Oakland for the 114th and 154th selections. The Browns traded a fourth-round pick for Oakland's fourth- and fifth-round picks.
